I also get a crash when loading a saved game made yesterday before today's update.
I'm guessing too. Crusader Kings 3?
I recall seeing something wrong with approval a few games ago. The approval in the top right corner of the main map said I had like 75% approval, but when I went to check my colonies, they were all 100% (I had a lot of bonuses).
I've seen that for a long time with non-synthetics. The approval in the top right never gets to 100% even though all of my colonies are at 100% and have been for most of the game. At first I t
Let the good times roll!
One unit of population yields one unit of raw production. Each unit of raw production gives +1 social production, +1 military production, +1 research, and +1 wealth. So as you can conclude, it's important.
One thing I'd like to see changed in GC4 is the Metaverse. Either dump the Metaverse ladders entirely, or (1) Make the scoring system transparent so an average player can understand what goes into a final score and (2) Eliminate games that are started but never finished. On (1), as far as I know no one has ever been able to figure out what affects a score in GC3 except for a vague feeling that higher difficulties make for higher scores, and some types of victory (like con

The Karen is the one yelling at the person without a mask on. Typical Orwellian tactic though, trying to change the meaning of a word.

One very minor thing I'd like to see in IV is to have an option to see the AI combat like you could in GCII. While playing III I wish I could see what the other civs at war are doing. In case any of you don't know what I'm talking about, GCII had an option so that between your turns, while the AIs were moving, your view of the galaxy jumped around so that you could see the AI ships move and fight each other (not the combat viewer, just on the main map).
After seeing your post that the sale was still on, I picked up Fallout 4 GOTY Edition.
You can defend your transports by forming them into a fleet with your warships, which involves moving them onto the same hex AND having enough logistics points researched that they can fit in the same fleet. I prefer to research sensor techs and then build a cargo hull loaded with sensors and engines. I can then see enough of the map that I can see the pirates coming and intercept them with fleets escorting my transports. But if I remember correctly the campaigns have limited tech tre
Question 1: How do most of you all play in terms of pacing settings and why? I always play on the default pacing settings. I find myself racing through the tech tree as it is. Question 2: Has anyone observed AI colonizing precursor worlds? Yes, I see that frequently.<
By the way, could you make it possible to train admin points?
In the latest DLC there's an improvement you can build, one per planet, that gives you 2 admins and some decent adjacency bonuses. It greatly reduces the need to devote citizens to administration.
I'm still playing GC3 and will be with you for whatever 2021 brings.
Looking forward to any sequels, or any developments for the PC.
I'm away from my laptop for a while, so I can't check this out, but in my experience you can just go ahead and invade the planet and keep it. You might have some significant debuffs on it though.
It's less than 2.5 cents/hour for me, too.
You said "relaunched the game". Did you mean start a new game? Because mods only take effect on a new game ...

When you start GC3 for the first time, it customizes 4 files to your hardware/software configuration, so from that point on they will always fail to verify. That's normal. As to your factories problem - what version of the game do you have, what DLCs and expansions, and do you have any mods enabled? And what race are you playing as?

As far as I know, you can't. The weapons and defense of the fighters is set by their roles. Assault drones, which you get with the very first carrier module, use missile weapons and beam defense. I rarely use anything else. Additional roles become available as you research additional carrier module types, and they use different weapons. To me it's always seemed better to stick to assault fighters and research the heck out of missile weapon techs.
