What's wrong with approval as synthetic?

Am I doing something wrong?

I'm in a game with 8 AIs, although 4 of them got killed, I'm the only synthetic race and am now #2 in approval. At around turn 100 (I'm on turn 243 now) it started decaying very slowly, and it's now at 95%... Is it meant to decay like that? Is it a bug? Or am I simply doing something horribly wrong?

I'm actually surprised it's at 95%.  What are the negatives making it that?

Nothing, all my colonies are at 100% but the timeline shows it decreasing, and the approval rating in the top left corner also says 95%.

Idk if it helps but it's a custom race, and the only other synthetic in the game, also custom, had the same problem. According to the timeline.

I recall seeing something wrong with approval a few games ago. The approval in the top right corner of the main map said I had like 75% approval, but when I went to check my colonies, they were all 100% (I had a lot of bonuses).

End of DivineWrath's quote

I've seen that for a long time with non-synthetics. The approval in the top right never gets to 100% even though all of my colonies are at 100% and have been for most of the game. At first I thought maybe it was an average over the whole game but then you wouldn't see it going down once all your colonies were at 100%.
