1) If that is the case, then should I not see those variants in my design list when I start a game with this ship set and use the "unlock" command? Oh lords of Kobal hear my questions... 1) What are the L and P designs in the shipdef file? They are AI only... but what are they? Example: "FrigateLBlueprint" 2) Anyone know in what order the ship designer organizes ships? Is it in the order of Ship Def? I think you should be able to mix with pragmatic, but never benevolent and malevolent. At any rate, I always go Pragmatic for the constructor bonuses, and go deep enough in malevolent for the homeworld production boost. And of course I get both preparedness centers and intimidation centers to develop these chains long term.

Hey thanks! I'm afraid your carrier idea is likely impossible, there are no pausing commands for animations, and generally they all act simultaneously on the part. You could get one to run off and up a straight runway, but it would then reverse backwards back into place... Hey guys! Thanks for the attention, and no worries, it was legit to suggest a support ticket of course! I did file a ticket, I was immediately told to follow the re-install and verify steps. While you can't exceed a hull's maximum size, you can manipulate hull sizes to be smaller than maximum. You can do this by offsetting a very tiny part off of your design in the Z axis. I do this to make tiny and small ships look tiny enough to be carried by my bigger ships.

NICE! I love it. The side disks are nice and have a good texture there. As for scaling. GalCiv3 uses a sort of dynamic scale, and on the galaxy map, a ship's size is always the same as its class.
