Depends if the parts will show up in game, I think they will. But if not, the only race affected would be the delnorians. I'd really appreciate it if you tested this actually.
Thanks Gauntlet. I caved and bought the Snathi DLC, figured it would just be easier. Like the look of your mod so far, thanks for that :)

- You can now stop shipyards from bugging you with "I'm idle" messages without needing to decommission them - There seem to be many more higher-class planets than there used to be!! - The new text for population cap, approval, etc. in the planet management screen is very useful; however, whoever inspected the quality of the English did a lousy job... - Coercion is continuing to make it
Several also need their English checked from what I've seen :)
Do you absolutely need the Revenge of the Snathi DLC to play this mod? I have all of the other required DLC. Thanks.
Thanks Paul
Update: so I have been told on the steam discussion forums there is no way to cancel a move to planet command once you've given it, you can only redirect ships to another destination. If true, this is an incredible oversight and needs to be fixed.
At the moment all my ships are being automatically sent to a distant planet unless I manually command them otherwise. There seems to be no obvious way to reset the command. Help :)
Do you mean the screen that says you've set foot finally on a new world? From what I've seen you get that with any civ if you colonise a planet in your own solar system (Mars etc.)
Thanks, but I don't understand your explanation at all...
Govern tab > Commands I'm at a loss to see how to unselect/cancel these once you've set them up. Not finding this tab intuitive at all - can anyone advise?
Not answering your Q but related to this is that I'm finding *masses* of very high class planets in my insane galaxy suddenly and I don't know why. It doesn't seem to be a mega event either.

I thought the Drengin were supposed to be hard to keep their contentment, but you just build an Entertainment Centre next to your colony capital like with all the other races and bang, 100% happiness in nearly all cases.
Here are four thoughts I had on how to cut down on repetitive actions and mouse-clicking in the game which would be very nice to have: 1) On the govern planet screen, have a small icon somewhere indicating whether this colony has a shipyard or not. I spend a noticeable amount of time clicking out of this screen, finding the colony in question on the map and looking to see, then clicking back into the colony govern screen. 2) On the manage colony and manage shipyard scr
On the second largest map with all default AIs included (and minors), GC3 is using 10.5GB, and along with other progs is using a total of 89% of my system's resources (16GB). For those of you who are playing on the insane map size with 100s of civs, how much RAM do you have? 32GB? Thanks.
Hi Guys, I've recently got back into this game after a lull, buoyed especially by the news that some work will be done at some point on improving invasions. I've now played 107 hours but still feel like an advanced beginner and there is much I either do not know or do not understand. In the beginner level galaxy I am playing at the moment as the Drengin, I am only the 4th placed civ (the Yor are nearly 10 times as powerful). The more I play this game, the more complex
Hi Guys, I have just started a game (beginner, as that's the level I have any chance of winning on) as the Drengin. I have never played a malevolent race until now. I have some questions on the Drengin and some other general questions if anyone's feeling like helping out :) - I'm a malevolent race and should be hated by all who are not malevolent themselves, yet many civs even like me, despite being of a different ideology. Seems a bit strange? - Can the Dr
Thanks guys, the zero maintenance is what explains it. I'd also like to see the minor races getting more attention. At the moment it seems strange, for example, that their survey vessels scour the galaxy but they as a race do not expand within it.
I've noticed this on a number of occasions. You load a saved game and the power ratings of all races are inflated compared to their ratings when you quit the saved game. That is, the numbers for all races have gone up. Not really a problem, but I thought I'd mention it anyway...
I've noticed that when your survey vessel goes into another race's territory you get a diplo penalty from it. It can even tip the balance and make a race dislike you. Anyone else think survey vessels shouldn't have a diplo penalty, only military ships in another race's territory?
Hi, thanks for your thoughts.
For example, the Ai never sends more than 1 transport, and never loads more than 2.5 troops on it. If you build elerium shields and other planetary defense on your worlds, the Ai can never successfully invade you.
This almost sounds like an incredible exploit. What are the devs doing to remedy this and the other AI flaws you mention??
Hi Guys, Thanks for your thoughts. I always play on Huge or Gigantic galaxies, random constitution of galaxy, and with the full amount of AI opponents who come with the vanilla game (so 7 I believe?). Plus all the minor races. But now I just got the (overpriced) DLC with Arceans and Torians, so have more to play around with. I always do the same things no matter which race I play: universal translator, diplomacy bonuses, tourism, and make a rush for medium or large size hulls.
This is what I find myself doing for a good chunk of the game, just pressing the End Turn button rapidly in succession, while I wait for my colonies to build up and for me to research the tech for large-size hulls. Only much later can I start to build up a fleet and do anything really proactive. I find I always take the same research decisions no matter which race I play. I love this game and I've purchased nearly all the DLC but the lack of things to do in the early-mid g
What happened to fixing planetary invasion? I'm not playing the game because this component has not been improved...
Wow, planetary invasion is still awful... The planetary invasion system really should have received some form of overhaul by now. Poor show.
For me, the above is what's stopping me from playing the game or buying more DLC. I wonder when they will sort it?
