:( Still apparently selling well though :)

I also noticed this issue from many beta games.
Bumping this post as it answers what many folks have been asking!
GalCiv2 had this, but so far, GalCiv3 does not. Many people have asked for it though.
(loading screen is like 2-3 minutes on PC with 16 GB RAM)
Loading screen takes 11 seconds for me (also with 16GB RAM). Consider that there may be something wrong with your system/setup?
1) Is there a way to see how popular GalCiv3 is on Steam? E.g. how many folks are playing it, and, especially, how many units have sold? And more generally about Steam: 2) Is there a way to be automatically notified when your Wishlisted games go on sale/Special? Thanks!
Thanks guys, I will see if the next scenario is harder.

Is it just me or is it just the level I am playing on (Normal)? But in scenario 1, the Drengin are almost entirely passive. Once you have cleared out their first two fleets, they don't attack you anymore but just sit back on their planets and bases, so you unmolested and easily gain resources and colonies and build up/rebuild your massive fleet and simply stomp their remaining fleets one by one. They don't attack your starbases. They don't attempt to attack your co
AI is good enough as far as I'm concerned - it typically beats me handily on "Normal" :) (at least in sandbox, not the campaign)
is it just me or does that trading/diplomacy screen look considerably different and more colourful than what we see in the current version? Hope it's a sign of things to come :)
It's #1 among the Popular New Releases on Steam - yay!
I believe you can do some of the larger gals on 8, but the more you have, the better, obviously.
Well done, Stardock, you deserve this!
I was enjoying the timer, too...
This reviews 0.97 not 1.0, right?
I'm chomping at the bit here...
This is something I have been wondering about for a while. 1) Should I look for planets that have the highest incomes? 2) Should I look for planets which are furthest away from my empire? 3) Or both of the above? What criteria should I be using when deciding which AI planets to trade with in order to make the most income possible? Thanks.
Where do you find the 1.0 patch notes? Thanks.
If you think it does not deserve a positive review, you have to understand that good reviews means = more sales = better post release support = with time, better chance to get the game that wish you had.
Indeed.
I obliged, but with the large number of issues I have with the game this close to release, I did not give a positive review :/. I will, however, change it once ("if") I am satisfied with it. If "release is only the begining", then recommending the game is something I will do once the major bugs are gone, exploitable or tedious mechanics are worked out, and AI performs well.
That wasn't helpful. Th
