Naselus is awesome, and I'm ready to write my review now.

New to the last patch or so, Civs aren't destroyed until you reduce their population to zero. I'm guessing one of the last ships is either a colony ship or transport. Luck.
Ha, the primary approval readout has no tooltip, period. As informative as staring into a crystal ball.
I can't be bothered with the disasters the computer makes, I've just been blowing up new planets in my current game, the AI does such a horrible job of it, makes such eyesore worlds, that it enrages my carpal tunnel to delete everything and rebuild. I'm sorry, millions of screaming people, I know you joined my empire because we're just so awesome, but you're too much of a pain in the ass, so its explodey-time for you. A million voices cried o
I agree entirely, and your UI makes my hands hurt. Funny, Gal Civ 1 was my go-to game for when my hands hurt so badly I couldn't play anything else. Gal Civ 3 makes my hands burn, with particular emphasis on the middle of the right, between the carpals, from the *constant* mousewheel. I hate the mousewheel. Why are the lists so tiny, the fonts so small, and the bottom of the list essentially unclickable? &n
6 months and we're still in beta. Sigh.
... the English still needs work.
There is also a variable called PrecursorPlanetPercentOfHabitable, which is set at 5%.
Good find, where did you locate this?
Strangely, I can purchase it in the store... or so it seems.
Also. Likewise. The same. And such.
Everyone line up, and we march at each other, and shoot, and reload, and shoot, and reload, and shoot, until one side is dead. ... didn't that sort of thing go out of fashion in the 18th century?
Well that's just amazing game design.
Further... hotkeys for buildings. Starcraft had them. Pretty sure that's old school now. I get a searing pain in the middle of my right hand, which graduates up my arm, from the constant use of the mouse scroll button on planetary lists. Not such an issue with shipyards, but absolutely atrocious with planets. The interface causes me pain, Stardock. Real, literal, measurable pain. <
I keep saying it, "Galactic Custodians III". It feels like I"m constantly cleaning up someone's mess.
Please, please, dear doG, map hotkeys for buttons, all buttons, like, say, "destroy". Also, it'd be really, really nice to be able to go into the "Govern" tab, and click "Destroy" -) "All" -) "Slave Camps" So I don't have to manually delete dozens of worthless "improvements" scattered over eyesore worlds created entirely at random. I'm seriously tempted to start blowing up planets right now, and I'm only at a
I've been saying "Map notes" for a while. Pretty sure games 20 years ago had 'em, and they were a good idea then, as I'm pretty sure they are now. We're in a high-tech, space-age, interstellar civilization, with very little data, or idea what's going on. That's... odd.
1) Starbases need to be able to shoot at interlopers. Its not "defensive" if I can walk right past it. 2) I envision starbases designed custom, as ships are, with the same associate cost/mass restrictions. Techs should be available to improve starbases in much the same fashion as ships.
Yey. Penalties for Bene. There's something I'll never use.
The current system is cumbersome, and should be both expanded and presented on a single page, with all relevant buttons and maps available without leaving the existing trade. You need to be able to see what's on offer, where its located, and what net effects it'll have on you, including tech lockouts. ... hopefully I haven't forgotten anything.
Durantium diplomacy. I buy transports, and outlying worlds to speed the culture flip. I have to agree, they've nerfed culture horribly, I'm currently augmenting my pure cultural activities with military expansion just to speed things along, starting with nearby Malevolent civs. Serves them right, they shouldn't have been.... Evil. Ha!
A "Renew Treaty" button would be nice. Extending the treaty under the current terms, or renegotiating existing treaty on new terms, doesn't really matter to me, either would be swell.
... just like they said no to Gog.com?
Funny story, I haven't written a review for this game yet, because I'd have to tell the truth, and I'd much rather wait til I have something I'd rather say.
... because our tools are about as much fun as the mop....
I find it hysterical the AI knows intimate details about my empire that I can't find out with the most advanced tech at my disposal. The kind of stuff our real-world tech is capable of providing data on now. It feels like I'm stuck in a janitor closet, cleaning a mop, getting ready to scrub the next starbase/planet/pirate nest. Galactic Custodians III.
