I just wanted to note that in patch 1.2 we made a fix in reference to the ship blueprint issue.

I wanted to mention that 1.12 was released today. It is no longer in the opt-in branch but is now the current latest build.

That is interesting, are you sure that you both are on the same version? The lobby may not show up if one person is on an Opt-In branch and the other person is not.
