graphical glitching / artefacts, constant flashing on main map screen

Hi

I'm having a graphics issue that I can't track down the cause of. I get this strange flickering of the screen which creates random polygons on the main map screen (see link to video below). This appears to only happen on the main map screen, all others are fine. Has anyone seen this before, and hopefully does anyone know how to fix it?

I've tried everything that the troubleshooting guide says to do, including a full reinstall of GalCiv.

I'd suggest starting a support ticket with the info found in the troubleshooting guide.

Any luck on this?  Oh, crap, June 18th post.  I was hoping it was older. 

Yeah i get this all the time, and it gets worse on insane as you clear the fog.  Zooming all the way out seems to make it somewhat better, but it's pretty hard to play when everything's just a couple pixels big.  

 

I suppose I'd better post a support ticket too, even though surely they have hundreds of them at this point.
