Thank you everyone for all the information, I was able to reproduce the issue of ship templates not saving properly and we expect to get that fixed. :)
Did you still have any issues after updating to 1.03? If so, please let me know. :)
We are chasing a Fleet Ship mismatch that is causing subsequent crashes. Thank you for the lead on this, does anyone happen to have a save that reproduces the zombie ships? If so, please send to support with this forum link as well so that we can keep organized. :) Link to Support https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/Tickets/Submit
There was a fixed just checked in, in reference to the moves display. It needs to go to internal QA first but then likely released in the next patch. :)
Sorry to hear about your issue, I maybe able to help. If the following doesn't help let me know. :) 1)If you select the fleet 2)Click the details button 3)Click the ships in fleet tab 4)You should be able to hover over each ship and see how many moves each ship has.

This post may help shed some light on your issue: The problem we have seen is that some people have empty ship designs, no hull, no components, nothing. When the game is building your list of ships it tries to process this and crashes. Exactly as you folks have stated, deleting your ship designs resolves the problem. We have a "fix" in the 1.02 opt-in where we validate the ship file before we load it. That will keep the crash from happening. But we still don't k

Thanks for posting your issue. Do you mind sending a save before this happens to support so I can have a better idea of what is going on?
