Well I think shyness in a woman is attractive unless it is caused by a childhood trauma.
Here's a secret. I'm a guy. History lesson. Illauna was a name I commonly used in MMOs. It originates from Icewind Dale where Ilauna is one of the mages that comes with the game. I liked how the name sounded in my head but the spelling confused me so I added an L.

Basically, I'll be working on getting a simple 4x game together. Then after release I want to continue to add new features until I can't or it's no longer fun to work on. All in all this will be a hobby instead of a job. I want to challenge myself So I could have 100 features or 3 ... Here i'd like to share some more of the ideas I have for fighters, bombers, and marine shuttles. Implementing these at somepoint will keep me busy for a long

Sort of. The current plan, even though I might not add them at all, is that they will function like they fighters/bombers in civ5. Fighters can be assigned CAP (intercept missile, boarding shuttles, fighters and bombers), Wild Weasel, recon and AA distraction missions. Bombers can be assigned planetary bombardment, tactical strike vs cap ship missions. Bombers are the only unit that can always pinpoint target bombardment. Orbital bombardment will be completely random the

Maybeee lol. Anyways, communication has always been difficult for me. In an effort to overcome extreme shyness, I started posting on these forums and working jobs where I had to talk to people. I ran into an old friend that I worked with over 12 years ago and noticed how much I've improved from the kid who could barely maintain eye contact to the person I am now ... who gets funny looks when I tell people I am shy. Anyways, I want to post my progress on this project. I posted the prototyp
Well graphics isn't much its about playability and mechanics. I like the idea of turning Spore into a real time stradegy that actually does things like empire earth and distant worlds after the animal stage that someone came up with. I wish someone in this world would follow up on that idea, or I wish I could magically get the skills to make the game. P.S. I think the game sucks, but it was brimming with potential. I'm sur

I'm ok with a sketch pad and have some friends that are pretty good at modelling they may jump on. But don't expect too much. At least right away. The ships should have a theme though. To show their strengths. I think the player should be able to read the strengths of their ship from

This is something I'm working on as a solo project that began a week ago. It is a 4x strategy game with a focus on resources, trading and combat. Space combat will be slow and tactical. I want combat to feel more like Star Trek and less like Star Wars. I got the world generator created for the most part and I'm working on the pathfinding system now. With the exception of the skybox, everything here so far I created. The system generation is in a rough prototype state. It generate

Will battle formations make a difference? Will you be able to give simple attack plans before the battle to tell the AI what you want units to be able to do? Will ZOC be implemented in the game? Can I position my units to slow down enemy advancement? Is this an option on ground and/or the space maps? Any chance we will see supply ships? Attrition? I know these weren't in GalCiv2 but I thought, hey new game might as well throw it out there. If anythin
As stated in the title of this post, how will you overcome the limitations of galciv 2. I am referring to the memory leak issue that was never resolved, making games unplayable in the late game. I understand that you are moving to a 64bit only platform, which I applaud, but as there was a glaring issue with part 2 of the series that the devs never thought to actually "FIX". What assures me or any of us as consumers of your product that issues such as the one I lis
Another thing that bothers me about digital downloads is the price. Back when we had boxes in retail stores, games were like 40 or 60 bucks it seems. Now that we have digital downloads, and game companies don't need to pay for manufacturing, distribution, and all that crap, games are STILL 40 or 60 bucks! I would think that digital downloads would be cheaper since they don't cost that much to get to market. So basic

Reply to [1.5] Crash in LH Support

Actually saves can tell you a lot. It allows SD or the mod author to reproduce the issue. This was important in SD resolving the 1.4 crashes that were occuring.
What a tease ! It looks almost like a MOM 2 interface. Insta-buy if so, given that it never left any of my machines since the release in 1993 Willing to believe but wasn't it difficult to secure the rights to MoM ? I think Stardock already tried no ? Please keep the Attack: 4 swords mean : 4 * 0.3 = damage (and so on), with most spells implementing a change on that (enchanted swords, mean 0.4), Some spells + 1

I should mention EA is still notorious for telling people what they want to hear and not following through. I will actually believe teh offline patch if it comes out. But I have also stopped caring for the most part.
Quoting Wintersong, reply 5Then you are not a true gamer and don't deserve the right to play the game you paid for. Trust the suits, they know what you really want!!! (like always online Sim City!) Always online is not what the "real gamer" wants... I purchased SimCity giving EA/Maxis it's chance, even paid the extra to get the Deluxe version. Upon release it wasn't available the first week except for
Quoting Illauna, reply 11Also back in the day you needed the internet to download the latest patches. Really? Here in the Netherlands we had gaming magazines that came with cd's (and later dvd's) that usually had patches for games on them, amongst other things. @Seilore; I think Wintersong was being sarcastic, note the smiley in his post
Lol forgot about the magaz

Retail copies require shelf space for a retail store to sell. They charge premium and they can refuse to sell the game for any reason. Many retails stores refused to shelf games just because it was projected to not sell that well. There facts weren't always correct. You would basically have the same games on the shelf as they have right now, FPS, SIMS, and Blizzard games. PC games have been mostly sold through digital games for sometime now. Not only has it made things more convenient, I

4X...Crafting...just take my money! iOS? [e digicons]:pout:[/e] Just saying, because I find the lack of good 4x games on iOS annoying. Although, I can understand the hardware requirements might have something to do with it. I might have to try and find that gadget though.
For Ewom owners new version for free ?
Although a remastered edition is technically buying the same game twice. I personally would let that slide because I, like many ewom owners, got FE and/or LH for free because of the problems with E:WOM. Also, if you buy it now it's only 4.49 on Amazon. Considering Stardock kept their promise they could ask me to pay for a remake and it would not bother me in the s
