The Crusade campaign is actually the original GalCiv campaign. To prevent having to rebalance the campaigns for every new patch they play by the original rule set. For instance the economic wheel still exists. You wont have access to citizens with the Crusade Campaign.

Ok you just confirmed what I thought could happen. I'll replicate this and post. I don't think the constructors is intended the problem is your changing your citizens job to Engineer and changing jobs cost 5 control.
IIRC asteroids, nebula, blackholes are all missing because you can cheese durantium, elerium and antimatter resource spawns with it.
Also, if you leave the AI alone on that large of a map size tehy don't need to expand. It seems they also got a fairly large sector too so doubly so.
Sorry don't get offended by this, but what are you expecting? You set the game state to Max sizes, Max sectors and Farthest away from each other. I'm surprised you ran into them even that early.
You can look back at the previous autosave and see which one is missing. After that replaying the turn might show you what happened to it. Otherwise, no they shouldn't expire. But AIs Embargo, get eliminated, etc...

I am playing the Tywom. I just conquered the YOR and noticed the Planetary Mainframe and Planetary Extractor improvements have "Can not be destroyed" in the tooltip. I have precursor satellites connected to a shipyard which is supposed to grant a boost to sensor range. The ship I made has a 10% boost but the description is missing info. I'm assuming it's an missing description in the XML.
Oddly enough this UI appears to be missing from the manual. Note: I might be a bit wrong on the damage formula. How damage is applied is correct. It's in MyGames\GC3Crusade\Saves.I think you can sometimes run into Windows putting saves on OneDrive. If your drive is dying I recommend moving your My Documents folder which will also change the save location. Right Click Documents Click Properties Click Location tab Type the new location Click Move
I would recommend looking at the XML located in the main folder. You can find a lot of numbers in GlobalDefs. Otherwise, if you have specific questions we can probably help if there isn't a post already.

It's funny, and sad, how something so minor could totally break my enjoyment of the game. I spent many nights trying to resolve this issue because I just couldn't find evidence it was happening to anyone else. Also, I work in tech support so I naturally have to try and fix everything.

I have a GeForce 650 TI. Since the game released I have this bleeding grid lines issue with hiding hexes beyond the cultural borders or full grid lines. Here is a screen shot. http://screencast.com/t/NggzeEW9 Orientation of the map does not make a difference. There is a faint flicker to the lines when I pan the screen. I was playing on my laptop and I don't have this problem. The grid lines stop at the cultural borders. So I'm guessing it's having drawing issues

Get Diablo 3 + xpac...don't bother getting just vanilla. It's great now. The only reason I don't play it anymore is I have a hardcore main and nearly die everytime I try to get back into the game...then again I usually try to pickup Diablo after a few drinks soo I think that might be my bigger issue. Anyways, D3 retcons some of the lore and re-explains everything so you won't miss any details if you skip the first two.

Brute please fill out a ticket and include your save file. That is the best way to resolve these issues. This is clearly an unintended bug.
