We patched a fix for this yesterday. Can you make sure that you are not on the opt-in branch and verify your steam files?

We've fixed this -- restart steam and a new game to get the correct values.
Thanks for the report. We'll look into it.
Errr... I'm noticing my ships cost 24 credits maintenance per turn.... EACH! Is that intended? Edit: Update was downloaded, then I ran verify game files prog... Seems things are right now.
Whew! We patched that just before release so I was worried it had come back some how.
Yep something was wrong. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled, but instead of constantly validating files, It kept saying I needing an update. I updated, it wanted another update, I kept updating, but it never stopped. I restarted steam and validated files as you suggested, but it still had the same issue. I then uninstalled the game and went into the steamapps folder and saw that som
Fyi, we re-added the prototype survey module
i think these type of games are like our virtual paradise almost for us with Asperger's. Between Gal Civ Element: FE + FE:LH we are talking many thousands of hours. Even if I to complain a lot, I wouldn't bother if I didn't greatly enjoy the game
Glad that you've enjoyed our games. We like making them! We value your feedback and I am personally don't mind "complaining" so long as its constructive a
Something's wrong. My revert was very quick - less than minute? And I'm not on a high-end machine. Interestingly, some of the 2.5 features (like the Tech selection screen) are still present in 2.3.3 after the revert.
If it was less than a minute, then it didn't completely update. I would suggest restarting steam and possibly verifying files. <
My apologies. We sometimes forget to acknowledge every bug report. We've already added the foodIcome fix to the build. I'll look into the "Proto Survey Module" as well.
Totally agree. Before, switch on govenor of choice, be done with the planet upgrading crap. Now it's pain in the ass. But good to know that everyone is "so excited" about this tremenous update. Futhermore, I cannot invade other planets any more: error message: cannot invade no genocide ships I can't find any documentation on this with google or in any forum. For me, this update kind of broke
The_Tourist, Can you send me your prefs and debug files? They'd be located someplace similar to this: C:\Users\pshaw\Documents\My Games\GC3Crusade Thanks
Ok whew! Sorry, I'm the producer and on release day, one of my jobs is to be on the alert for major bugs. My mind jumped to a [queue klaxon] "oh crap the production wheel somehow snuck into Crusade" :)
We have made any changes that should have affected 4k. Are you playing base game or crusade?
Which faction are you referring to? The wheel should only be in the base game.
2.5 (which we expect to release as an opt-in THIS WEEK) No option here. Steam just started the download and gave no apparent option to accept or reject. I'm not upset about it, but it may not be wh
Glad to hear it
You know, you would have saved a lot of grief if you'd made 2.5 "opt-in" with a notice that it invalidates saved and on-going games. Instead, you/Steam released it as "back-out", meaning I have to jump through hoops to get back to where I was this morning! NOT HAPPY. [e digicons]#:([/e] But thanks for the post. At least it is possible to get back.
2.5 is live now. Thanks for the feedback.
Hey folks, v2.5 is a massive update for the base game. Unfortunately, the update was so big that we were unable to support old save games. To make up for this, we are making v2.33 available for all players as GalCiv3 Classic so you can keep playing older save games. The process for accessing it is similar to opt-ins: Select 'Galactic Civlizations III' in your Steam Library list Right-click and select Properties Select the BETAS tab From the
Quoting pshaw, reply 3 Have you seen that recently? We put a fix in for that a few months ago. EDIT: I mean all support ships flying through the battle with no one firing. Yes, that's part of what I was reporting in the original post.&nb
There is a bug that has existed for a long time (at least since the first release of Crusade) that makes support ships appear at the front of the battle, when they are really at the back. I'm saying "really at the back" because that's where they are supposed to start combat according to the GalCiv III docs that I read. I posted a thread about this quite a while ago, with a video clip that shows the problem: <a href="../48
We posted an update to the opt-in. Can you restart steam, validate files, and then see if the problem is still present? Thanks!
Update 9/11 [Crusade] Fixed a crash if you quick-started with either the Arceans or Torians but didn't have Mercenaries installed [Base] Hide fleet button on the Custom Civilization screen as this is a Crusade only feature [Campaigns] updated factions they don't start way over population [Tutorial] adjusted pirate's starbase health so it doesn't start with a negative value.
