I agree with you. Thank you for sharing. Properly done, DLCs are good for everyone. That said, as a Founder who won't have to pay for them, is it wrong for me to want many, many GalCivIII DLCs over many, many years? [e digicons]:d[/e]

Perhaps we should just be allowed to "destroy" the Capital, as with the other improvements, then we can re-build it elsewhere. I know what you're thinking, but no, you would "have to" rebuild it. So if it appeals to you to manage the Capital location, go for it. But you lose a "free" improvement.

Thanks for posting this! Before buying more memory, as in (2a), please check to see which version of Windows 64 is in use. The upper limit of RAM support for version s "Starter" and "Home" is 8GB. An upgrade to 8GB is still worth it. Obviously, don't buy 16 GB unless you want to up

Happened in 0.71, I didn't see a fix in the 0.72 Opt In fix but cannot confirm it still exists.

At turn 185, I found that when I pressed the "Turn" button, the cooling fans sped up, memory held steady at 8.25 GB of RAM, and the eight CPUs averaged 50% utilization. The AI's turn wouldn't end. This is with an Immense map on Win 7 64. The CPU usage fluctuated, so it seemed the system was trying to do different things and not just the same thing over and over. On several occasions, I let it run in this state for minutes while I did something else. I tried making various change

Thank you for bringing this up. It's the old "immovable object" versus the "irresistible force" dilemma. I would expect the Benevolent trait to trump the Malevolent trait, because the Benevolent trait has a reduced, specialized scope, i.e., it only applies in one's zone of control. It allows the Malevolent trait to apply everywhere else. It doesn't render the Malevolent trait 100% useless until all existing factions have the Benevolent trait. On the other

Have you tried using keyboard number keys? Most or all of the numbers 1-9 are mapped to zoom presets. In the game setup screen, you can change the presets. In my experience, the behavior can be faster using number keys than it is using the scroll wheel. My guess is scrolling is faster within a given zoom quantum, and number keys are faster jumping between or across those major zoom boundaries. That's just speculation.
After I spent a few minutes trying to understand it, I decided I like the new system much better. If my approval goes below 100%, I need to add goods and services. Because the decline is gradual and linear-ish, I am not forced to make an immediate adjustment, I can stay relaxed and get to it when I get to it. I suppose someone obsessed with optimization, er, I mean someone deeply engaged with the minutiae of the game might be annoyed by the need to pay attention to some arithmetic, and
