In addition to "ships", I would like to see the appearance of Shipyards affect a ship in at least some of these somnabulent modes. For times when I station a fleet at an enemy planet, waiting for a transport(s) to arrive. I want to wake up so I can blast it.

I hate the "Idle Colony" message, it seems putting something in the queue that can't be built makes it happy. Is there something more productive that can be done?

Good points...speaking of name a star, I found the option last night, didn't exercise the right to do so, now tonight I cannot find it. Sorry for the newbie question, but do you know where I should look for that option? Thank you. -M.
