I will keep this short and sweet. 1. With extensive tech research; The ability to Destroy and Create planets as well as make uninhabitable ones habitable.

In multiplay if the host has the Dlc's then everyone playing will have them unlocked for the current game.
I believe so since it is in the galaxy creation options.
Below is the link to the Moo2 races files. Played and soaked a few rounds. The Klackons are pretty much the dominate ones and the Cryslon do well. I did forget to do the blurathi and the mrsshan ,I'll add those a bit later. I left out the elerian and darlok untill spying is added. Also inside are all the photo Png's and the forground png's labeled fg for the forground photos. Example>>> psilonfg.png This is not profes
The metaverse score we see is really nothing more than fluff. At it's heart what it does is collect your game info; how you won and so forth so stardock can see all the different strats and exploits players do. Its there to improve the AI and balance issues for the most part. The higher the score the better the strat or exploit in which gets looked at. Brad said 90% of games are played and completed/lost on beginner. " 1. Nearly all players play at either beginner or easy. &n
I am working on making all the moo2 races excluding the antarians, possably the darlock and elarians due to no spying yet. If folks are interested in them I'll upload them on the web by next week. Is there a way to edit the race description out side of the game and then just drop it in a file. Would be nice to do the description text on my phone then copy paste to a file somewhere in th
I hear ya on that, with all the effort they have put in though its a bit to late to turn around now. I Backed em as well and am just being patient by remembering back when you would read about a sequel coming out and waiting years later to buy it off the self. MOO3 really burned me after all those sleepless nights waiting to get my copy in the mail only to find out they should have stuck with what worked in the 2nd place. There is allot of ruff out there but few diamonds.
I have little faith wargaming will bring the same experience. Ok, I have some after reading the article. I just have little faith in the dumb down approach to classic games I keep seeing over the last decade. At least stardock has been "keeping it real" per-say. I wish stardock would have got the bid for the copyright over wargaming. I was heart broken. [e digicons] I would keep an eye on M.O.R.E., It seems
It is easy to be a farmer when your plow is a pen and you are 100 miles from the nearest farm.
I was told you can go to the debug mode, *first press ~ , then type "turn" and it will advance the turn. Down side is that using debug invalidates the metaverse score though. I heard from someone that they are working on this but have not heard an official answer yet from stardock. Its the only thing keeping me from starting a insane map and ofcourse I still got 70 races to build/download yet. [e digicons]:D[/e]
Introduction, I always play on normal because that is the intended game and I play for immersion. Gc2's twilight normal was more like a hard and easy seemed normal which is why I feel most played on below normal levels. It is very possible allot of people like to immerse into the game and see how the galaxy develops over long periods of play. The problem I find when playing a crush them all style is, I know how its gonna end. It's gonna be me or one of them,,,,, boring to me a
"Because I like the process of feeling powerful. But I DON'T like the tedious work that comes with it." So in lay mans terms what you are saying is; I like sex but I want to skip the tedium of foreplay?
Yes The GC2 AI was better than what I have come across. If there is two words to sum up the GC2 AI it would be devilishly annoying. Ships running away flanking threw the FOW picking off weaker fleets and so forth. The AI seemed much more aware of the player and knew when to run and attack compared to most other games without cheating. The only complaint I can really recall is when the AI would as mentioned above, hibernate or seem to go in depression and not be active during long
" I believe path finding was next on the list. " I am assuming by pathfinding they will turn around when a superior force is in their sensor range like in GC2. I remember having to make sure my ships were as fast as possible to catch em when they would run away. I have noticed that they do not do this yet but I'm sure they will soon. [e digicons]:cylon:[/e]
I'm Sorry but,,, YOUR GAME SUCKS!!!,,,,, me in. Keep up the good work and a big thanks for a big game in many big ways, not to mention all the feedback. Yes it is like so gigantically, titanicly and enormously big that I can hardly comprehend the bigness that this platform will only get bigger and deeper like it's predecessor did in a huge way like this run on sentence,,,,,,,,,, Cheers[e digicons][/e]
"Steam forums is like standing on a soap box in a kiddie pool full of piranhas; entertaining as well as disturbing."
I make the Orions as my main custom race I like to play and plan on adding the others in the future. Moo2 is what made me drop the console and go to PC gaming.
I'm sure they may add it in the future. Btw nice avatar Pic. R.I.P. Mr. zappa
Just bumping this for the dev stream. I am usually at work and hoping to hear some feedback on this. Have a great day. [e digicons]:D[/e]
Every time I get into a battle I have to turn my volume down because the battle viewer volume is much higher than the game volume. I cant find an option to tone it down.
This is from a post on the steam forums below in blue by Cathan. "This is just something I've noticed. I've been playing an extremely long game with an Insane map with only Conquest as the victory goal with my own custom faction. However, if you actually manage to research all technologies in the game, the game still thinks you have technologies to research and won't let you contin
RECOMMENDED: Processor: 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5 Processor or Equivalent I was just wondering if the AI will be only utilizing up to 5 cores or will it utilize more if you have an I7?
From my stand point; having the 50 turn duration on the trade itself is diminishing. Maybe making the AI treat them as more valuable would make them more lucrative since you have to negotiate all the time for them. Also lets say ya get some tech for some snugglers, well you keep the tech forever but the snugglers come home in 50 turns. [e digicons];)[/e] Its a Pandora's box, It feels fine as it is.
Congrats!
If you are talking about rotating ship parts its right there on the lower right of the screen just like in gal civ 2. Also if you don't like using the degree dials like myself you can click on the options button on the bottom. There you can select, "show design gizmos" and you will be able to rotate, enlarge, move up, down, and side to side by dragging the arrows and gyros with your left mouse mouse button. Rotate whole ship,,,, hold down the mouse wheel button and viola, ro
