Yes it is pretty sad that we do not get to posses our games anymore. Its like buying a tv set but ya gotta look threw your neighbors window to watch it. Its a crazy world we live in these days.

Please refer to the OP edit update for the whole explanation becouse another problem arose on the flip side with smaller maps. I just would hate to see the one option to adjust range scaling to map size slip by because it can be a real game enhancer. Hello, I have been playing on a new immense map on Galciv2 and I must say; One thing that bugs me is when I can just cross most or even a 1/4 of the map without having to use star bases eventually. There is really not a feeling of having a ,"deep space nine", or any real logistical importance. For me It seems to kill the point of playing excessively large maps. There was and is an ongoing study were a guy has placed computers in small villages in 3rd world countries. These computers are fully internet capable and only in English. Planet construction/destruction : Any thoughts on being able to utterly destroy a planet, create one from the rubble left behind or make a uninhabitable planet habitable? I believe it would be neat to have the option to keep expanding or consolidate the space around you in the long game.
