This is one of those things I've gotten used to in the beta, but for a new player I agree it would be much more friendly to have a decline button.
Quoting Publius of NV, reply 1 In a very early beta the developers asked for one bug per post, but a lot of people never got that message. Soo... do what the devs asked? Ill feel like a Troll or spammer adding like 5 topics in a row lol [/quote
In this case might be nice to have a tool tip come up when u hover over an empty square telling u in advance if it can or cannot have upgrades later. Maybe even a toggle function to display it. Seeing as adjacent bonuses are kinda important, just my 2 cents [e digicons]:P[/e]
That would be useful.

Since I don't work for Stardock I can't be sure, but Island Dog made a post where he said that the bug blocking you from mid-size maps when you had only 4Gig would be fixed when the opt-in went public.

Several of us ran into that in Beta 5, I was hoping it was fixed in 6. I'd encourage you to open a support ticket to make sure the developers know it's still there. It seemed to me that it happened after some number of battle viewer and/or invasion screens, like each was leaking memory or some other resource.
I just got a 9.8 mb update, what was it for?
Probably the opt-in going public with one or more additional fixes.

I am getting the impression, from the multiple requests in the support forum by developers for people to open support tickets, that in these last few weeks of development problems with support tickets will get a lot more attention than those without. So if you think this needs to be fixed, go here, and read the information at the bot

Check this post , there might be something there that will help you, if not there are instructions on how to open a support ticket.

You said "restart". Was this a game started on a previous beta? That can cause problems, it's usually better to start a new game for each beta release. If not, see this post , including the stuff at the bottom about opening a support ticket to report a crash. Edit: Oh, never mind, I just reread your post, it

With the Intuitive trait, they get a bunch of free techs at the start. I haven't studied them in detail, but when I go to trade techs with them it looks like they've been concentrating on military techs and neglecting the colonizing techs needed to build up their worlds. Anyway, like you, I soon surpass them.
I gather this is the proper way to report technical bugs in the beta? Well, I'll use this instead of the forum then
Having been here since the alpha test, I have seen how the forums have been used and how the developers have been reacting to posts. The Beta Feedback forum has mostly been used to discuss various aspects of the game and to suggest improvements. The Support forum has been used to report b
