This one trait makes the neutral line what it is..neutral..no war.
But even if you are neutral, that doesn't mean every other race is neutral towards you. This trait forces all races to be neutral towards you through an arbitrary game mechanic.

I don't like this trait as it is. It's no fun to play against AI that are using it. And I can't figure out how it makes sense story wise...I mean, what's physically stopping my ships from shooting at their ships? It seems to be just an arbitrary block. And 100 turns is a very long time. There must be a way to rework this trait so it's fun. Maybe change it so that you CAN declare war on them if you want, but at a huge diplomatic penalty w
IMO this is the end result of worrying too much about "Immersion", folks. I've always taken "Immersion" - and please correct me if my reading here is too harsh - as meaning "make me forget I'm sitting in my room playing a game I bought off WhateverWebsite/From WhateverGameStore and this is as realistic as possible". By my admittedly most likely too strict definition, immersion in 4X set in 2525 (I think that's the st

I firmly believe that the three weapon types should initially have no range difference. It's unbalancing. Let it be up to the civ to make the decision to spend resources researching techs that increase range. If for instance, beams have a better range, then why ever pick anything else? By the time you get close enough to use the potentially more powerful but shorter range weapons, whoever has beams already has an advantage.

If they add voices, they should always speak in their native language and just have the text below in English when you have the universal translator. That's what Civ 5 does, the other races don't suddenly start speaking English at any point.
One thing that bugs me as well, is that more advanced versions of factories cannot be built in one turn. One must build the starting factory, and then each turn do a single upgrade.
This bugs me too. This production/research overflow problem sounds serious, but I've never heard of it. Can anyone give me a quick rundown?
