Hmm, for those who might have difficulties using the UTC timezones, you can see it in you Time & Date settings in Windows. Provided it is at the proper setting of course..
So there's pretty much no reason to play unranked other than to protect your precious ladder points... which you don't have. Why unranked even exists when it simply causes headaches like this, I can't be sure of other than to assume Blizzard has been completely unable to comprehend the basics of good online play in recent years.
Unranked is here for many reasons. When you have buddies you want to pl

@DARCA, in a more general way Indie is a short for Independant. As for the screenshots, I find the GalCiv 2 alpha quite interesting. I actually like the look of it, more organic. But it reminds me of a Car dashboard a little too much. Im not sure but I may prefer the GalCiv 2 botton oriented UI over a side column like in the GalCiv III alpha, ( or galciv 1 for that matter). It made for that widescreen galactic look that highlights the vastness of space. The new UI style, might

The nature of GalCiv (on tiny maps in 1 v 1 games) works out remarkably well. I hope you make the multiplayer scale well with larger maps as well, preferably with a very strong element of diplomacy. I'm really looking forward to that. Do it for ParagonRenegade Brad, do it for me.
It will be my

IF you want to run Syrim in constant 60 FPS with the official HD texture pack addon, a 150$ 2gb Vram video card will do it. If you want to run the 4k texture mod, you need almost 4gb vram. I think skyrim with that mod is possibly the most Vram hungry game out there. 2gb vram will run just about anything else high detail in 1200p. Also, why 32 Gb? I am not aware of any game that even requires more than 8 gb.

Proper use of starbases could buff your ships to be five times as powerful, make your planets produce five times as much and slow enemy ships' movement to a crawl. I personally found a way to make a 'slingshot' array of starbases, where I made a bunch of military bases with ship speed buff

They would not be making these cards if there wasn't people buying them. And those people will probably buy two and put them in SLI. Fortunately it is utterly not needed to have a good 3d experience, its like those kids putting 30 grand in car modifications. It wont get them faster to work than my 3000$ truck.

Brad, ironically the way to enjoy Starcraft II Casually, beside playing Tower defense custom maps of course, is to play the ranked ladders. This might sound counter intuitive but it is true. The custom matches are full of Diamond+ players who want to warm up. In the ladders, the system will automatically pit you against opponents of the same level as you. It wants you to win about 50% of game. If you win more you will move up the rank and face better players. If you win less th

I support this Necro. I like space pirates, that they are cliche makes them even more suitable to GalCiv. Space creatures would be cool too. The way I would like to see pirates implemented would be as non playable Pseudo-Factions. Please not the boring Pirates from Endless space, those sucked. I would like pirates you could interact with in many ways, You can negotiate with them, buy them off, trade with them, but all with the "reliability" you

I recall also reading some ( I think it was from Brad ) about the decision to require 64bit systems for the game. That it was about increasing the limit of what the engine was capable of, and IIRC map size was cited as an exemple.
