agreed it should be highly valued as military tech rather than in a category of it's own.

Depends on the settings you use you can choose how common planets are and how common habitable planets are, how big the galaxy is, how the stars are arranged, etc. with the right settings you can build empires with hundreds of planets.
It made sense to me that logistics is not a category in itself, but it is odd that it is in the in game custom faction editor, (maybe it should be removed).
The Wiki is designed to be the place to go for this sort of information some of the data there is direct from stardock, but this is a huge game with lots to know. If you go and look at the standard race descriptions or go to make a custom race and scroll through the tech trees you get an idea of what each tech tree is focused on give to you, it doesn't do a tech by tech comparison though as that would be a huge under taking and far from light reading. Anyway while I
They have provided the Schema's for all the XML that's actually an unusually high level of documentation though I guess a lot of people might not know how to read an xsd. For myself I want the to add and tags to the colonization events most of all, this could be used to solve the issue of all those food and organic related dilemmas coming up for Synthetics and give modders a very powerful tool. </p
I'm of the opinion that the AI is nowhere near the level of the GalCiv 2 AI. It still needs a lot of work and a lot of refinement.
That's because the current AI in GC2 had years of development, much of it post release. The AI in GC3 is already pretty good but it's in many ways a larger more complex game than GC2 and FrogBoy hasn't had as long to work on it. I fully expect it to g
It is ludicrous to give a negative review for any of those reasons Frogboy mentioned, does sound like steam reviews can be influenced by many really nonsensical things.
Quoting econundrum1, reply 7 I know it was a lot of money up front but it's a saving in the long run on dlc and expansions. I paid a whopping $22.50 back in November when they had the <a href="https://twitter.com/stardoc
Played for hours since release with no crashing myself, from general reviews and comments I think it's like a lot of games reasonably stable on many machines but very unstable on some. Hopefully they can track these issues down for those effected if your raising support tickets.
Yes they have a mapping tall internally but want to clean it up a bit before they give it to us.
It's important to note logistics is not how many ship's your empire can have total just how many you can have in one fleet. So it only makes sense in the context of a fleet really.
Yes level up makes no sense in terms off the ship's themselves but when they later bring commanders in an expansion they will probably level up. Espionage they are saving for the first expansion I believe.
They are used to compile the xml when the game loads at least the mod xml into some other format. I know this from a bug in the beta that supported stopped mods loading on some machines.
If you took one of the thalian traits that grants free tech, that's why.
Not surprised the list is short, I understand you don't want to break the game with the release version and we had a lot of updates already over the past couple of weeks.
I think the Drath will be coming back in the expansion that deals with the espionage system, after all they are shape-shifting space dragons and who knows if they are really extinct.
Not surprised on the size probably just a few extra tweaks and assets on top of .97 which we already have.
I believe from a dev stream last week the ship designer will be eventually. The race designer, sure that would be nice to have on the main menu to though it makes little difference as you can just go new game design the race then not start a new game.
I have to say so long as I get the lovely shiny extra parts I don’t give the tiniest Tamarin who else Stardock choose or don’t choose to give or sell them too. Thanks guys.
Unfortunately I won't be home for about 2 1/2 hours and probably won't get a chance to play until tomorrow but Ya!
Well make it an option? I think its insanely annoying and unrealistic
You're right of course how can they have something so unrealistic in a game that has force-fields, Hyper-drives and ships trapped in pocket dimensions [e digicons][/e] . All production taking at least one turn is your realism concern, really??
Quoting Seilore, reply 195 Isn't this post kind of redundant being that the main purpose for the badge is to see it under your name when you post something. So if you have to post in this post "test" or "checking" doesn't this mean that you're never posting
Thank you muchley [e digicons][/e]
Metacritic review has been added [e digicons][/e] , happy to help get the word out.
I agree good steam workshop integration will be a big plus for the game and the sooner the better but I'd rather they did in well in the 1.1 patch than did it poorly at launch.
