Would be great if they would post a copy to Youtube as it is you can't watch it form a smart phone and it seems to have a few other issues.

If you wanted to visit another universe you would need to make sure it was one with near enough exactly the same physical laws as ours, If not the most likely result is that you and anything you had with you would undergo immediate atomic disintegration as atoms from our universe probably wouldn’t be stable there.
I have to say the recorded stream for me was awful from two different locations and networks in the UK It was buffer for 3 minutes watch for 2 stype stuff and these are connections I can watch high def Youtube video on just fine both of them.
It doesn't only render your tech unseless also your biology is dependent on the precise physical laws of your own universe.
Yes that would be fine it just shouldn't give you points in one ideology directly without giving a choice.
Well a pocket universe is essentially a bit of the parent universe that has been pinched of into a small closed time space so it was likley to be small. The fact that the Arnor could do it means it is possible withing the laws of the GC universe, if they could do it, it makes it feasable others could also find away to do it. Whatever isn't impossible is possible and may be accomplished at some point.
Well logicly if you can create one pocket universe then you can create others too. But let us say that in the lore it was possible to form a pocket universe so in theory pocket universes can exist in the GalCiv lore. It's not exactly the same thing of course anyway as the sort of multiverse idea that is hinted at by current physics it's more like pinching of a bit of this time/space.
It's just an alpha I think they have that event pop up on every planet so you can earn ideology points to test the ideology trees. I'll go out on a limb and say not only will there be different random events in the final game, but that you won't always get one when colonising a planet anyway.
This morning I got an anomaly that gave me points in an ideology tree other than the one I was perusing this forced me to choose something in that tree. Anomalies should not give me points in ideologies; points in ideologies should come from choices or from building improvements that give you points.
That was pretty funny I have to admit...opps I surrendered [e digicons]:D[/e] . But yes if you have autosave on you can just go back to your last save game should you have such an accident here.
It might be a little complex to implement and resource intensive, it might also defocus the game a bit. But I could see an expansion dealing with other spacetimes particularly in a campaign. after all the lore already has pocket universes.
The issue they've got really in general is that GC3 doesn't have to out do GC2 in it's origional form it has to out do it with all it's expansions, otherwise critics will say it's not as complete or good a game as GC2. This may be a little unfair but it's how it will be judged in the world at large. Completely missing a GC2 feature like this is going to be a big red flag to critics. A poor implementation would also be an issue.
I don't like playing a game with black and white "displays". Its basically saying "don't enjoy looking at anything else but what we want you and have fun playing our game were bland totally colorless screens are complemented with the rainbow that is is the production wheel."
Yes we are getting that you don't like it [e digicons] I'm starting to think your had a trua
Well put perigrine23, my point exactly but much better explained.
Yes you could use it as the basis of an interesting custom race instead. That could very much work. Remember races can be given their own technology tree in keeping.
Ah thought so, to be honest I think it a mistake to have no espionage at all in the base game it will feel like somerhing is missing. I can appreciate of they have big plans but espionage has always been part of running a kingdom or empire in real life and it's will be missed.
Sounds like you'd make the top of the Yor extermination list with that ideology. Seriously those if the where to attempt to have more diverse and complex ideologies I'd say yes. But frankly dont think it would fit into the simple good bad netural ideology system they have planed.
I think it would be a rather narrow view of darwinism I think I prefer the current names.
Yes a few people seem to hate the monochrome, which is why even though I quiet like it I suggest they rethink a little and try and come up with something people don't feel so strongly about. A slight desaturation might work just as well to make buildable tiles stick out rather than full monochrome. I hope I'm wrong on (6) as well but I really do seem to remember reading that somewhere when going through various old journal posts and things. So as I say please do
I think I have the advantage of being used to playing elemental so I've got used to the zoom out zoom back in to a different spot approach of navigating the map which also works in GalCiv3. But yes I think having the edge scroll back would be a good idea. Is it actually confirmed as a bug or is it just something they haven't implemented at least so far.
At the end of the day your right it won't be us who decides how the system is implemented and I figure I've extensivley made my point here as have you, so I think I'll move on from this topic and wait and see how it turns out.
I think orbital defense platforms would be a good thing to let planets build, the rest of the things you list are most relavent to planetary invasion ForesterSOF and we haven't seen what they have instore there yet.
2. On a few occasions, when trying to place a building tile (colony building screen ofc), another tile of the same type suddenly appears adjacent to it. It shows up on the cue as a second choice, but not from me.
This is when you try and place a building on a hex outlined in yellow meaning that you can't use it yet the version of the colony view in the founder vault as being the version in an internal beta they h
Yes I think it might be a good idea for them to try some alpha versions with the different options implemented to see what works best in practice.
I think you should be able to add defensive and offensive modules to ship yards like other space stations and indeed use fleet to help defend them.
