I've not seen anything on what languages will be supported, but the data structure makes it easy to add new languages at any time. Looks like potentially modders could add languages to, though I haven't tested that. It's a simple matter of translating the text which is all kept in xml files in text\english then adding say a text\German directory for example and dropping translated files in there. But as I say I've seem nothing yet on what other languages

I've downloaded loads of skyrim mods from steam workshop without an issue, but I suppose it could be an issue, not massively concerned though. Yes I think nexus has declined mostly because with steam games that have workshop integration it's an easier way to get more players to notice your mod. As has been proven here a lot of players won't even know about nexus, which limits your audience if your a modder. That said it will host conte

Actually I think it's just a bit over powered at the start on bigger maps, really helps you find those important first colonies.

I'd be surprised if they didn't at some point from the folder structure and data structure they have clearly designed to allow multiple languages.

I have to admit since I heard about the cargo hull sensor stacking exploit I've used it, you can buy one first turn and know just where to send your colony ship's. They are talking about nurfing it in future not completely but by giving diminishing returns on stacked sensors, it is over powered as it is.

I would expect most mods to appear on steam workshop once that's integrated, even if they are also available elsewhere. I'd look to a mod forum more for promoting and seeking feedback on mods and help with issues and the wiki for how to guides.

I also think the adjacent bonus thing is a case of you can't please all of the people all of the time. I love the adjacent bonus and think it makes colony management much more fun than gc2. But like any new feature some people are bound to dislike it. Don't get me wrong there are some design decisions I don't agree with in the game as I'm sure there are for all of us. Because after all none of us are lead designer and no two people would make all t

Op did you get the expansions for gc2 in particular ToA gave it a lot more character with per race tech trees and improvements which gc3 has from the start. gc3 also introduces strategic resources, so where an improvement goes matters. Ship roles for fleet combat. Tech specialisations, shipyard which can be sponsored by multiple planets, an ideology system. Strategic resources, improved ship designer and more. I think their is a journal post laying the differences
