Maybe the disabled that behaviour if it caused a bigger issue elsewhere. That may have been easier and quicker than fixing whatever other issue it caused. Just speculating.

I've no doubt stardock will improve certain aspects of things like starbase construction and planet management over time. But at it's core gc3 like gc2 is all about managing your empire and once it gets to a certain size that will always become a big job. My advice find a size and set of abundance settings that suit you and how much management you're willing to do.

I found gc2 after moo3 broke my heart by being one of the most broken, badly designed least fun games of all time. I'd loved moo2 but thought it was all over for 4x space strategy. Gc2 quickly showed me how wrong I was and I've never looked back. So gc3 has a special place in my heart and I look forward to seeing it develop further be it through free patches, dlc or expansions. As a founder it's all the same to me. That was a great deal.</p

Yes the only ones who should be ashamed about ms paint are Microsoft. Having used both I'd say paint.net is more approachable if you have never used a serious image editor before. GIMP though is far more powerful and worth learning to use. I'd have to say photoshop is the best but the price is too much for most amateurs including me, especially with gimp being available for free.

drakkos137 you have a real hatred thing going on in your life don'the you, hate steam, hate specialisations. Is there anything you just slightly dislike or are sort of OK with? Really if this was star wars you'd have a real sith Lord thing going on with all the hate. Don't really think we have to deal with it though all

I'm not of course saying that they can't make improvements to reduce it a little, but when you are managing an empire of 100 or more planets spread across a big region of space that's always going to be a big job. Playing GC2 on very large maps I'd normally have the AI turned down enough I could ignore a lot of micromanagement late game and just go mop up.

I think they have said on the battle viewer they do intend to try and improve the cameras as they know they aren't great and often loose the action as it were. On the ship experience thing I don't think adding hit points really makes sense, maybe a bonus to accuracy and evasion might make sense to reflect the crews experience. If they do commanders as part of a later patch or expansion I guess they will have fleet and ship bonuses that may grow as the commander grows m

This is GalCiv we expect a lot of micromanagement when playing really large empires on big maps, don't we? I remember on larger maps GalCiv2 always became very micro-intensive late game on bigger maps and that was a much smaller game. One option play on a smaller map size.

[quote who="Bamdorf" reply="5" id="3547451"] I have no trouble finding pics and logos, but one issue I do often have is trying to arrange the pic so that the area surrounding the body in the large picture is transparent so that I can use the stock backgrounds. Haven't been able to solve that one yet. Every time I try to save something from paint I get a message that any transparency will be lost if I save it. Any suggestions would be helpful. Per

For myself I became a founder because I loved gc2 and all it's expansions and had faith in stardock that if anything did go wrong, (don't shoot me Frogboy) as with elemental, that stardock would make it right in the end. Since I also knew I would want all the dlc and expansions the price seemed like a bargin to me. All the other founders stuff was just icing on the cake. Generally though I've had less time to play dur

congratulations and despite my reservations about if the game would be ready on time it has com on leaps and bounds in beta 6 and I'm hoping I was wrong to doubt In any case thanks for all the hard work and dedication I'm delivering a great game I look forward to playing for years to come.
