I like the idea as well, however, this would become more challenging for customer races. I still suggest the following for custom races to make them feel more unique... 1. Give one a certain number of habitation points for a star system (example 16) 2. Allow one to pick number of planets in the system. 3. Allow one to pick how to use the habitation points toward planets in that system. (see following examples) a

Never got into it much as one can cheat very, very easily via modding. First off I'm really looking forward to larger maps, however, I have the following concerns... 1. Star density, so far this doesn't appear to be much of an issue, I compared the average distance between stars in Galactic Civilizations II (somewhere between 10-15 tiles) and the average distance between stars in Galactic Civilizations III (somewhere between 10-15 tiles) and if anything there are more stars per tiles in Galactic Civilizations III compared to Galactic

Will there eventually be an option to speed up or slow technology progression? Similar to Galciv II although I would like to be able to slow it down to almost a crawl on super large galaxies. Is it worth checking this anymore? There hasn't been any new information since 6/11/14. I understand we have access to the Beta currently but here are a few things that might be nice... 1. The thing is even if Stardock did lower the price originally for the Founder Elite to $49.99 and and not include all the extras, just gave them Alpha access, those same whiners about the price would change to the whining about I paid $49.99 for an unfinished game... rip off...
