First off thanks for getting to some of my questions and doing the stream as always... One question was asked will there be a way to build an advanced factory and they said no as it's better the way it is. This may be the case if I was building it however, what if I want to buy (purchase) the advanced factory? We should be able to buy the advanced version versus waiting every turn to go back in and pay for the upgrade. So after watching the beginning of the str

Whatever happened to the tech that allows one to build late game on all possible tiles with some land that would be available that was mentioned a few streams back? I agree this will advance several planets greatly but it would be awesome to see. Will there be invasion events that you keep mentioning is being thought about? What about having the ships that come out of the ship yard on auto guard mode as an option or auto create a fleet if one was attempting to build a fl

18. Bug... Constructors stacked on top of star base's do not show as available constructors on the right. (see attached picture below) You have to move the constructor and then move it back in order for it to reconize it. 19. Star base military upgrade appears lit as if one could build it, however, is not available. Maybe dim this
Haven't read all the threads but happy to hear I'm not the only one seeing it... 15. Bug... Generating multiple star systems with the same name, therefore having the same planet names. 16. Rhonin, thanks for the suggestion, however, I still feel this could be clearer. DivineWrath, thanks for catching this, I watched the dev stream after posting this error... Here is a few more... 13. Bug... When clicking quick build on your shipyards, it does not subtract anything from your treasury. 14. Bug... No way (or at least I have not seen it) to tell a constructor to construct a starbase when there are multiple constructors stack

Some additional points... 11. Game becomes very unstable later in the game yet. Seems all related to my ship yard, more and more I click on it and the game crashes. This could be because I have every planet feeding 1 shipyard, however, some players may play this way so that should not break the game. I don't have time to submit the crash reports at the moment but, it will be done later today or tomorrow. 12. Ships built should go on auto guard mode

So far I've played around 2 hours of the beta, here are my thoughts... Keep in mind some things have been already mentioned in other posts... 1. Need edge scrolling... (this is versus the click and hold to move the view of the map) 2. Bug... When quickly building many ships, and sending them to colonize many worlds this bug occurs... Does not show ship in route past 6 ships so one may be sending ships to the same world and not realizing.

A few comments from the stream.... 1. I vote hex maps... 2. make the mini-map zoomable... Hex-shaped versus square, to match the galaxy, this would make sense?? 3. Starbases are a cost after 4, nerf the cost based on galaxy size please... The larger the galaxy the easier it is to make more starbases... Please. 4. When will some minor races be added? I know major races will be coming in slowly, what about minor races?</p

There has been rumors that the crash bug has been squashed is this true, and can this be released as a bug fix patch prior to Alpha 4 or Beta 4 if it's going to be several weeks for those yet? When may we see additional races, Thalans? or minor races Snathi? To me the largest issue keeping me from playing deep into the game in Alpha looking for other later games bugs. Should this be addressed sooner than later, there is a better chance I'll play more to find thin

Okay Z-74, first off some of the features you describe could add to the game, I agree, but at what cost? I'd rather have more depth to the game versus higher detail as your describing. Too many games now days brag up graphics and realism but, have no depth, you stopped being challenged after an hour or two. I'd rather have a game that keeps you on your toes, is constantly making you want to cheat to get ahead for many hours/weeks/months versus an hour or two. M

CTD is not a new issue, unfortunately, however, they do believe they have located the issue and will be resolved in the next update, either Beta 1 or Alpha 4.

If you're asking this question then why not ask, are the common house cats able to reproduce with an African tiger? They look similar wouldn't it be cool. Why is this even a question? Sometimes I wonder about you DARCA. Do you have a thing for Akari? Either way the short answer is NO!!!
The Kepler space telescope is picking up many new exoplanets and it's likely that there's more objects than we thought there were at the beginning of the study. I think it's important to simulate things properly that means many more m00ns (Titan Enceladus, Europa, Io, Callisto, Miranda and a few others of the big ones) should be in. We also have the minor objects, the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter should be taking the shape o

First off I don't care too much that some of the major races won't be back, however, I'm with some of the others, if you're taking away 5 major races, perhaps there could be a few new ones or minor races that have since become a major race? Personally I always loved the Arceans and the Torians. I never played the Arceans in Galciv 2, however, I always would attempt to keep them close to trade their technology :) The Torians/Thalan's were always the races

Schaefespeare, show me a 3D map design on a 2D monitor that doesn't get garbled and confusing when rotating or moving units. Also show me a non-complicated way to move a ship from X,Y,Z to X1,Y1,Z1 by point and click versus typing coordinates every time. I agree I would love a playable 3D design, however, I haven't seen any that are practical.

All in all I have been satisfied with the founders elite program here are a few positive points... 1. Love the communication between Stardock and the consumer. (This hasn't ever been an issue in my opinion) 2. Love the video's (however, I wish we had the working version a lot of times but, it's understandable why we don't) 3. Love that we get all future items planned for the game. 4. Like the way that Stardock handl
