Q: Still broken?
ManiiNames
Yep, still present.
Awesome, TY Publius.
Issue: In the Thalan (possibly others) tech tree there is a pick-one-of-three option Weapon Specialization. One of those options is "Miniturization Specialization", and it should probably be "Miniaturization" with a "a".
TY for the info.
They are not listed, but you can see their effects.
Text contains "... slaves from forign" should be foreign.
Anyone know the #'s behind how accuracy and jamming actually work?
If you have production available you have to build something. Suggestions: Set sliders so you have no production. Chunk it all into research, wealth or a mix of the two. Build one of the projects, wealth or culture etc. These are not terribly efficient but it's better than doing nothing. Set your sliders to military and direct your production to a shipyard somewhere nearby.
Mine is present. I have the " Howling Dog" Star.
Note you have to hover over empty space in the list, not over an item in the queue.
Thi impacts approval relics in the same way, FYI. Everything is totaled up and then approval relic bonuses are applied with the rest of the percentages. So if you have 10% approval, an a relic for +10%, you end up with 11% approval.
I ordered was ahead of time and bought the special edition of Elemental, came with a nice pewter dragon. Game was a flop, but I got this little dragon =) Then Fallen Enchantress came along as a rebuild from Elemental, and all was right with the world. I alpha and beta tested the crap out of it, used tons of mods, lots of experimentation, had a great time. Galciv3 became available and I ponied up my $100 without a qualm. I'll admit I did not play any alpha
Last I checked the approval relic bonuses kicked in after everything else. Something like (Base Morale + all building and trait bonuses - empire penalty) * (1 + morale relic). This meant that if your net morale was 10%, a morale relic would add +10% and raise it from 10% to 11%. Not exactly what Stardock had in mind, I think.
Sometimes intimidation just isn't the way to go =)
You can just upgrade the sh to itself. Is cheap, takes a few turns and fully healed.
Accurate Trait gives +/- bonuses in .1 increments Agile trait gives +/- bonuses in percentage increments Q: Why is Agile in percentage, when technologies all seem to be in .1's? Q: How can we tell if these are actually doing anything?
Me either, and I don't like small maps =]
Things change between releases, suggest start a new game.
Sometimes the planet doesn't have any easily-terraformed spots. Especially true on planets that start out high quality.
Open the shipyard, then hover your mouse over the listing (bottom right) where the queued ships are displayed. Make sure you are hovering on an empty spot, i.e. not on top of a queued ship. Should show accumulated production.
Ascension crystals (and all other precursor artifacts) do have an effect on research if you have the appropriate racial trait.
Coming today? Haven't seen a thread for changes in Beta 6 #2
Known issue, been around for a bit. Have yet to learn if it's intentional or not but, like you, I assume not. I can say that the next level up does split its bonuses between research and production.
Throw in Adaptable were you can get a jump on the extreme worlds as well and the meatbags will be begging to be harvested.
Yor have adaptable built in already.
