Would be nice to be able to customize fighters for your carriers.

Tough to balance the + movement building when you have such a variance in # of planets between galaxy sizes and play styles. That being said I always liked the Arcean uniqueness and will likely give this a try when I have time. TY for your efforts.
Your ship might be slow as heck, and thus gets the crap shot out of it by enemies with long range attacks. Armor is great stuff if the enemy has Kinetic weapons. If they don;t it's worthless. Why do you have 400 armor?
Auto-Add bug is in the known list somewhere already. Good thing to notice though.
I can't count the number of times ive given up on insane maps! The amount of micro required after a while gets out of control. Also you are screwed without patriotic if you go for military victory.
Just explode their planets. "The atmosphere and the very waters of the land were corrupted by the infidel and need to be cleansed in fire!"
So I can get out and capture planets ASAP, a lot of my colony ships only have the minimum 0.5 pop on board. And no I'm not using the colonizer etc traits.
especially as those attack tech-trees have stuff like 'shield leach' which negates the defenses they're aimed at.
I'm not convinced these actually do anything though?
There is an ideology trait which says "If you sack my home planet the entire universe declares war on you."
Known issue, been reported before. That being said it's still broken =\
Healing pools FTW. Ignore the stadiums etc and don't look back. The Altarian versions are just better because they also give influence adjacency benefits. Social Matrix line is good if you get a lot of adjacency bonuses into them. They help an all-research planet maintain some manufacturing capability, and an all-production planet generate some research. I will normally try to place a Social Matrix right next to the Solar (etc) power plant to enhance this s
Build starbases around your planet and put morale enhancements in the starbases.
The founders obviously didn't do a very good job. The reason is because most of the wolves will stay away until the game comes out to rip it to shreds. The types of issues that exist in the current game are not ones which are great surprises, they were found and documented by folks. Ba
Just buy it directly from Stardock.com. Brad and Co. deserve our money.
Debated this one to death already.
1.02 has some don't go to war too early diplomacy changes in it. Possibly this is what you were seeing.
Hard capped at six.
I know Frogboy also has a Surface 3, he's mentioned it in the past. I would bet he'd like it to run on his tablet too, so maybe there are some tickets / settings which would help.
I'll give it a try, TY.
The xml files are compiled together for each new game, if you open an older save game it will be operating from a different set of parameters.
1.02 patch notes say they made Kinetics lighter. They used to weigh 28, then lighter and now lighter still. All the same size is correct though, they always were. The truth is they don't do crap for damage and have less than half the range of missiles, but you can buy a lot of them and they have an amazing rate of fire.
Or....maybe you could try remembering there are human beings on the other end of the screen.
Hear hear! Casting blame serves no purpose. Politeness works wonders.
Glad to see the list, hoping a few more fixes make it in.
Armor used to, but that was changed in late beta.
Lasers are also more accurate than missiles.
Accurate trait gives flat bonuses, so they work right out of the box. Agile gives percentage bonuses. The problem is the bonus is a multiplier, so this racial trait does absolutely nothing unless and until you manage to research Jamming technology and mount some on your ship. Then it takes your 10% Jammer and makes it a 12.5% Jammer. Not exactly blowing the doors off in terms of wonderfulness. Agile looks like this: <InternalN
