I am fine with the DLC model.Games like Moo2 and AlphaCentuari had like one patch and that was it.We get games that live on years after release now.Games like WarhammerTW and EU4 would be good games but not close to what they became after DLC support.
Ashbery76
I dunno.I've seen pictures.
It's pretty simple really.Play EU4 and copy diplomacy mechanics.
Looks a great improvement.
So basically GC2 diplomacy and logistics by another name is back.
Rather than making them more relevant with more types of nebula like has been said in the wish lists they just cut them more or less out.Might as well not have them.
11.Know when to retire and stop living of past glories or you end up with games like Sid Meier's Starships.
Does the A.I know how the play this DLC.I am seeing reports that is does not use the new goods in this dlc.
What matters is how good the game is and not 64bit.GC3 is not scaled for large galaxies like Stellaris is.GC3 is micro hell at that scale.
Thrusters are for defenceless scouts to get killed quicker as they cannot retreat.
I cannot see it in the setting.I think this is needed.I am just too tempted to get overpowered scouts for pittance that ruin the exploration phase of the game.I know most of the large galaxy after 15 turns.I am thinking thay maybe the huge amount of money you start the game with needs scalling back to make it more of a choice to spam mercenaries.
Heroes has been a feature that has been asked for since the Alpha. I can remember a number of times in the devs streams where Paul said they wanted to add it in post-launch and often tied with the returning of ship XP.
I liked the idea of a leaders system but a ship with some text is not what I expected. The game does not allow you to retreat from a losing battle to save your hero either.Af
4x A.I's cannot get a strategic mind like a human so it just becomes something that allows the player to manipulate the game heavily in his favour this is why most 4x games are having a different methods.I like in the EU games that neighbors get a tech bonus from having higher tech races next door.I also liked SOTS joint research projects. I would set tech trading to need an alliance and only allow a give tech option for non allied races.
The upload was about 500meg.Not enough for the art assets.
Yeah it's backstory related.
Oh, so this is where we get to pay for races from previous games that weren't included in the new version for whatever reason [e digicons]:|[/e]
No because you can choose not to.
Not very impressed. The game needed other parts fleshed out more and not the worst part of the game ala combat having more ships.I would have preferred the pre release admirals they talked about with skilsl and a portrait to this. Because you cannot even retreat in combat also makes this a bit iffy. Why would you pay that high when one battle sees its end?
This film has many flaws as OP says but I still liked it.It's not close to the greatness of a NewHope or Empire imo but its better than most of Jedi apart from the bits with Vader and Luke.It felt consistent to the originals. The prequels do not exist in my mind. They were all shit including the Sith one."I have the high ground" heh pathetic.
Poor dudes thinking it did something false, but it cannot be blamed when even the developer does not seem to know.Battles seem another part of the game left half designed.
The issue with retreating isn't a question of 'realism,' it's a question of whether or not it's actually fun to have to chase down every little force that your battle fleet should wipe the floor with in a single battle but which manages to waste half a dozen of your battle fleet's moves because the computer just won't stand and fight, with further mechanical issues arising over how retreating can be abused and so
A strategy game is about fun and trying new things.Yes mechanics should be tightened but just using the same optimised play is boring anyway.
1 billion years.
Civ5 feels so complete I am not sure a new Civ is needed yet.
I actually think the reason why races fall like a pack of cards is the instant one turn invasion. You transport spam empires to death pretty quickly.
