Nice work but yeah the modding part of GC3 is just a mess.The workshop is just a nightmare with a million ships not organized.
A option for no auto ship designs like in GC2 would be nice along with an updated milky way scenario using the latest build.

I think 10 colonies is about the max before it gets tedious.The auto governor never worked in any game ever so I like the big mans ideas here. I think the campaign story should be told in the sandbox.Some games have done this well ala AlphaCentauri,Endless games. Some sort of tactical combat is a must imo.I like the FE style.Brief but with some depth.

Not really sure what is the point of these is as approval is pretty easy to manage and higher tech governments allow for more planets that you will get on most maps.Is there some hidden mechanic? Not sure the point and auto gov allows for less micro and you get more than just money.Am I missing something.

Land,sea and what you can do with it is always going to be more interesting than open space where you go from node to node. Stellaris or DistantWorld did a pretty good job at exploration.
Hmm I'm really not sure about defences just being on the odd planet.A.I's are just not good at that sort of thing.
I think planets should have a garrison.The ease of which Brad took that planet is worrying.
