I have had the same problem. I also noticed that if you upgrade a ship you can only do once. It seems that the game thinks the ship is still upgrading. (says so in the tooltip) I tried cancelling and it crashed. You can use the ship, but it will eventually be outclassed.

Okay, so I finally figured out how to get the "free gift." At the very top of the screen click on Games and then Activate a product on Steam. I have to say I was a bit disappointed as it told me I already have the DLC in my library. I guess that is because of being a founder, but still, kind of a let down. [e digicons]X([/e]

I don't see where anyone has posted this before, but I think these relics are way OP. 512% to all of your planets? I can see a boost to the nearest colony, or a set amount divided by the number of planets colonized, maybe with an extra portion going to the homeworld (taxes). Once you get to Xeno Archaeology it is impossible to lose. The AI isn't aggressive and I've never seen them build any starbases yet.
