Hi all, I can't seem to build the Omega Starbase Defenses on GalCiv 3 after researching Fortification. Is this a known bug or is it just me? Is there anything else I can do to increase the defensive stats on colonies? Cheers
Hello Stardock folks, I was wondering - with the upcoming Intrigue expansion, will we have to recreate our alien species or can we just update them with the new game mechanics provided by Intrigue?

Hi there, There seems to be a bug in my version of 2.8 where, regardless of the settings, habitable planets seem to be set to rare. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi all, A couple of my custom civs have had their fleets defaulted to pirate style which means I cannot access some of their classes of ships (colony, constructor etc...). Is there any way I can get the fleets to return to a normal fleet default so I can add the proper ships to make them playable again? Thanks in advance, B
Thanks Peter - my mistake - I've got it working again...
I lost 3 ship styles in the upgrade to 2.7. Now I can no longer so downloaded content on the fleet pages, nor can I see new downloads when I add them. Can anyone help to fix this problem? Cheers, B

Merry Chrimbo folks, So the recent upgrades for Gal Civ 3 have wiped some of my races shipstyles and I'd prefer not to go back and repopulate them by hand. Is there anything I could do to bring them back?
Thanks to you guys both. I don't have the technical know how to be a modder, Admiral Wilbur so I'm going to have to find another way. It is a significant bug though - why have that selection category if it can't be used? - so I hope someone will fix it in a later patch. This is slightly annoying and spoiling the game for me a little bit as on an Immense Galaxy I don't want to do manage dozens and dozens of planets. I wonder whether it is a bug or not and whether it could be fixed? Thanks for your time and patience in reading this.

I have a repeated error at start of game and when I am making fleets for other species that pops up to tell me that an old shipstyle has failed to validate. I have deleted the faction from the factions part My GalCiv. What else can I do to get rid of these messages?
Hello folks, I am trying to create custom shipsets for 18 different factions from the workshop. I realised that if I upload the the ships at the same time I have to scroll through hundreds and hundreds of ships to select each ship for each race. I tried uploading one set of ships and saving the custom ship style, copying and cutting those ships to a folder, and starting again with a new faction. That way I could reduce the number of ships I was view
Dumb question - how do you upload dlc ships to a fleet? I can't work out how to use dlc ships once subscribed to upload them as part of a fleet.

Hello guys, the minor races portraits don't appear in my GalCiv 3 2.0 games. And their symbols are usually borrowed from the players or AI insignia. I am hoping this bug gets fixed in Crusade....
