Hey y'all. A lot of the game text on my GalCiv 3 is blanked out with a white screen. Makes clicking on things hard, sometimes impossible. Is there any way to get out of this? Do we know what causes this? Cheers

I think I see that. What I'm going to try to do is use your GRM shipset files as templates and avoid a lot of labour. Thanks for those!
Cheers Gauntlet but I'm not quite getting it: aren't all the long string codes at the end of the names meant to be unique?
Thanks Horemvore. I will follow your lead.
Hi Horemvore, how do I do that? I know this sounds stupid - but if I download custom designs, they only open with the saved game. Do you mean save them as templates and then load them as templates to the saved game....
Hello folks, hoping to trouble you for just a quick question: does anyone know what we need the prototype category of ships for? Can we safely ditch them?
Hi folks, Quick question. Do we need the protype category of ships or can we get rid of them and keep the starting, award and normal ship types?
My goodness is modding shipsets to make a ship style out of custom designed ships for the AI to play hard! I've been trying to piece together ship set files for AI opponent species from the custom designed ships on the steam workshop. Even with Gauntlet's immensely good shipset tutorial ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JyuzaYS0ewY ), the amount of labour of love in updating the ships

The enjoyment of the game comes from marshalling all the resources, strategies and v

Thanks for the replies guys. Re Gauntlet: *resale* every design?? What do you mean please?
Hello folks I am a Gal Civ 3 newbie and am looking to make some custom races with custom shipsets cobbled together from some of the amazing designs in the Steam Workshop. I've read over Gauntlets making custom ship sets from custom ship designs video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JyuzaYS0ewY ) as well as a few other posts in the mods. It seems that to make
