I tried the Korx and a custom that I usually play with neither showed the improvement. If it is working for you I may have made a mistake installing. I will check on it tomorrow _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Couldn't sleep so I went ahead and checked the installation. Saw no problem but reinstalled anyway. Training Institute did not show up. I am running 3

ShipComponentsDef is the right file, but you have to work with the one made for Crusade. I was trying to mod the old GC3 file:)
The pragmatic ideology trait "Constructive" gives you 3 constructor ships. The player then can upgrade them to colony ships. This has been in the game since before release. I was even able to upgrade all 3 to colony ships after Crusade went live. Was not until today when I tried to play with the new patch that I was no longer able to upgrade all 3. I understand the reason for the change just wondering why it was not applied
I think the patch broke it
I think he means the number of points you get for each admin citizen should scale
Okay, I figured I was missing the point somewhere :) They probably should do something on the issue. I think they were thinking there would be a lot fewer colonies in Crusade.
They are scaled. On a tiny map you only get 4 admins and one is used for the survey ship
Glad to hear it is Monsantium, I just don't have the stones to build it. :)
Couple of game play questions. The Kimberly Refuge project requires Promethius Stone. I have played 10-12 games to a hundred turns and I have never found that resource. Is KR supposed to be that hard? Next, is it still advisable to specialize colonies for the best results and when you get the 3 constructors
If a starbase needs an administrator, and I can see how they would, they would certainly be on the base and they would die with the base. Case closed :)
I read here or on discord that the ai was getting free ship rush which is fixed by patch
Colonizer trait works fine for me, but only for generic improvements like factory, lab, farm, shipyard. None of the new improvements are included.
How do I mod sensors without breaking the game? I can increase sensor range by increasing sensor power in ShipComponentsDef but it results in the disappearance of the Explorer surveyor from the game
What file controls the mercenary ships bonuses. The Ysengard survey ship is supposed to give 100 credits for each anomaly and it only give 25. They may or may not fix this so I figured I would just mod it up.
I need the auto survey splash screens back. Anomalies are too rare now and I need to keep track of my investment in survey ships.

Not sure what is going on with the rush fees. There is no rhyme or reason to the amounts. They might be $500 for a factory rush on one colony and $1500 on another, and if it'sw $1500 for one improvement it is the same for all even if they have only a couple of turns left.
I created a faction, colonizers and paranoid. The only trait that controls starting credits is the Wealthy trait. So I start the game and the credits are $2500. I restart with another faction and the credits are 5000. Anybody know what might cause that?
I don't get the pop up either and I am kind of missing them. I have to mouse over the info on surveys posted in the upper left screen.
I am trying to assign ships that I have designed and uploaded to Steam workshop to a civilization I am creating. It doesn't seem to be working. I can't download any ships to the game. I can click on get more ships and it takes me to Steam workshop but I see no way to choose and d/l the ships. What am I missing?
Is the create civilization feature fully implemented? I am trying to do a ship set and none of my prior designs are included. Most of them are on the Steam workshop and when I click get more ships it takes me to Steam but I cant dl any ships. I can look at them til my hearts content but can't bring any into the game. Is it me or maybe this feature is not yet fleshed out.
Not sure if this is a bug but I had to disable Avast AV to get the game to start. Said a file was acting strangely :)
Just for curiosity's sake, how difficult was what you wound up doing?
My initial reaction: Outstanding! Superb! Well Done! In my first game I am getting trounced by the AI and it is more fun than winning the other versions. Thanks for the early release and sorry for the grumbling :)
Just when I get my head right to wait, LOL. You have to select the special dl as well as put in the pw
So I'm not sure why people think they should get access just because.
Maybe because access has been being granted to founders randomly for the last couple of weeks and full access to all founders has been mentioned, not promised, but prominently mentioned on several occasions.
