When the map is first generated each world is assigned an 'ocean background' depending on it's type and then depending on its quality various 'continent stamps' are placed. This is what I meant by world generator. Not sure if it's moddable at all though.

Don't forget a tooltip about minor races if they get second on the priority list. Thanks for getting back to us on this Derek.
Love the concepts, needs some balance work. Are you using the world builder to make the in-game assets look like what they represent?
My guess: This is useful for campaign building.
Trolls are bad m'kay.
Wow, that brings me back to my Battlefleet Gothic days!
Any chance you'll get to Orcs?
Don't worry so much. It's obviously real when multiple people start reporting the same problem.
krbjms, he's trolling. Don't feed the troll.
I know it's an acronym, but I'm going to count it as all caps. Nice try Marigoldran.
The thread is SFW. The nexus link, which you have to register before seeing, does come with a NSFW tag.
Space monsters are a sci-fi classic and aren't specific to any one game.
Too much micromanagement for games with many opponents.
Your math is definitely wrong. Each week of pregnancy does not translate into .1 pop growth in this bizarre, has nothing to do with the actual game mechanic, aside.
There could be a dynamic political border system too based on the influential border, something like a fixed offset (f.e. half) from your influential border which is considered your actual political territory and grows the older your empire gets to undermine "historic claims". (Colors and border styles would have to be adjusted to reflect that of course) The dynamic political border system could be tied in with the culture flipp
However, I argue against making the implementation of that option a priority. There are other things that valuable development time should go into.
I'm fine with that.
*cups his hand to his ear* What?!
I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you over your allcaps.
Ya... the blue is probably the player's idea of warp disfiguration. Definitely not the skin tone of any space marine, that would be too much like some Xenos scum.

Abaddon would be caucasian like Horus Lupercal, the Warmaster. Abaddon, prior to being despoiled by the warp, was said to bear one of the closest resemblances to his Primarch. Most space marines usually bear at least a little resemblance to their Primarch from the Gene Seed changing their features. Here's a quote from 'Horus Rising' by Dan Abnett, I looked this up in my paper copy! "Ezekyle Abaddon, first captain of the Legion, was a towering brute. Somewhere between Loken
Come up with the concept of borders? Are you kidding me? These are FTL space-faring species and you think that not one of them has heard of a PB before? You know what it adds to the game? Player choice... how is that bad to give me the choice to play with options that I want to play with? Don't like that option in your games? Great! Don't play with it. I'll quote Seseme Street here, "You do it your way, I'll do it mine, just get the funky rhythm and we'll
You can use Control to select multiple starbases. I use it to check their area of effect when planning to add another one.
Mind blown!
That doesn't help when you can't deter even the peaceful AIs from doing it in the first place.
You don't seem to spurred on by this, but frustrated. And in my experience, being frustrated by the game principle can only be fixed by playing another game. For example I'm extremly frustrated with the gaming principle of first person shooters, namely that I have to act so quick and can't think about my next move. However, I don't want that they change first person shooters so that I can't be shot by anything that
