Train a citizen on a planet, create an administrator, raise to minister. You will have 10 administrators. The retired administrators do not count against the 10 administrator cap on civilization screen.

The other ideologies have traits that give a population increase. So while the planet remains Malevolent, they are within their pop cap range. If they become Benevolent, then they are over their pop cap. Robots have planet improvements that increase robot pop cap, if the planet turns into a bunch of carbon based life forms, then they are over the cap. My complaint with overpopulation is when you gain a level 1 planet, it has 5 population. You had better build t
I decided to restore my Windows, yes wiped out all my apps/programs. But I downloaded Gal Civ3 again and it works. Thank you everyone.
Forester, thank you. I ran the sfc /scannow. It didn't find anything. I am still unable to play.
I keep getting Failure to Initialize Display when launching the game. The game played fine yesterday afternoon, but last night I started receiving this error. I have followed all the steps at https://forums.galciv3.com/486732/galactic-civilizations-iii-support-faq . The part for Failure to Initialize Display: -Error: 'Failed to initialize display' </
In my game, Aid Research is only available on planet with Technological Capital. Is this operating correctly?
I can understand being a little in red, but in the game I am playing the Tywom are 287,069 in the red. I know previously, they were offering more credits than they had to declare war on other races. I honestly think at this point, they should start scrapping ships to get rid of deficit.
The tool tip description of the Study Wormhole Generator shows +3 Wealth. When I go to build a Colonial Bank or Financial Sector, it shows only a +2 bonus. Is the tool tip incorrect, or the granting bonus incorrect?
This is still happening. If we specialize in Military, are workers supposed to get a bonus? If we specialize in Social, are engineers supposed to get a bonus? Please let me know.
There is still no price. Is this going to be no cost?
IMHO, there is enough penalties for playing wide. Huge map, hundreds of planets to colonize, dozens of races. Government 4 colonies. If you play Karyn home world, 3 of your 4 are gone. Oh research governments you say, great, now I have 12. How about eliminating home system colonies, hey Mars, from colony limit? And adjusting government limits by map size.
Anti-matter?
How about an AI fleet defending a planet, pop out destroy my force that I am building to attack planet. Nope, waits for to bring enough ships to destroy defense fleet.
Please can 3 more buildings be made vulnerable, Planetary Extractor, Planetary Mainframe and Rare Metals Extractor? Thank you
This has happened at least 3 times in this game. I play very long games, on ludicrous maps. I don't recall from previous, but I think so.
I have noticed that if you have a Crisis, and you have to quit playing. The Crisis is gone when you start your saved game. This doesn't matter if you just had the first window. I noticed it after the 2nd window also.
If something gives +2 to ship construction and +2 to social construction, but not +2 to all construction. Maybe we should remove all construction from game. Make everything ship or social construction?
The Plasma Furnace-B is not giving adjacency bonus of +2 to Social Construction or Ship Construction when I place a factory next to it. Research, Wealth, Population, Approval and Influence work. I have no Tourism building to check with.
I just completed a trade, "We are grateful for the generocity of the mighty Trebor," Pretty sure it should be generosity.
At least since 3.04, (might be earlier, I don't remember) a civilization will offer me a trade. Say they want a tech, some resources, and credits. The NPC offers a tech, and some resources. This is a balanced deal on the screen. If I remove the credits they want, the deal goes wildly in my favor say 80%. I can remove the resources they want. I can have the NPC give me more resources, another tech and some credits to reach a new balanced deal. So
Don't forget adjacency bonus, 2 Entertainment centers next to each give a lot of approval. As they update, they just get more powerful. Then later you can remove them and replace them with production improvements if you like. Please see my other post where I had 0 approval, this is how I solved it.
I have had an empire wide Approval of 0, due to many NPCs giving me their planets. Can you say 30 planets over your planet cap?
Is there an event that gives you negative influence? I just received a planet from the Iconians after they were defeated by The Angry Empire. It was -225 when I received it. 1 turn late, only -199.
What is the benefit of having a star base near the Bazaar? I think I missed that in the patch notes.
I just received a message saying "Altarian Resistance has changed to Coalition Government Government". I certainly hope not, they surrendered all their planets to me 20 or so turns ago. Has this happened to anyone else?
