If you add a ship to a named fleet....check the named one first and then on second task the single ship's one. Then hit join... [e digicons]B)[/e]

@pshaw Thx the notice, unfortunately it doesn't work with multiplayer. I only tried with my very own custom factions, as I do know that I didn't use any mods for creation. Current problem is, that when I joined a multiplayer (v. 1.32) I was not able to choose a faction, because I didn't get a player slot. Same problem here. Support asked me to delete all custom factions and block Steam cloud completely to allow joining of multiplayer games. Seems they wrecked their code.
I'm sorry, but something has gone terribly wrong with multiplayer. From version 1.02 I wasn't able to play multiplayer. With 1.32 I wasn't able to play multiplayer because I didn't see me in a player slot when joining. Other players have been able to join my offered game btw. So support asked me to delete all custom factions. Just to remind, playing in localizated shape. After whiping all the more then 200 custom factions with a nearly cleaned out game I was able
Nice, a good step with dark background. Am not sure how #3 and #6 will show ingame with that tiny colors. Since I was asked to delete all mods and stuff to fix a MP issue, I actually can't test it. Will try asap.
Don't want to sound didactic, just in case you've yet not seen, you may find all current blueprints at 'Steam\SteamApps\common\Galactic Civilizations III\data\Schema'. Can't say if one may be able to alter them with a modded copy instead of changing the base files directly, which in fact will compromise the whole game.

@00zim00 As for the asteroid system, there is a wrecked starting planet, which could be a good blueprint. For the rings, I'm using and altering them quite easy for my Methane Breather mod (halted v. 1.2 till workshop support). You might get a first view with it.
Both questions lead into one direction. You'll need pre-defined systems to get them working.

Stardock support confirmed that they forgot about different localizations in multiplayer. Next patches should change it ... More and more I'm feeling like a paying test tube-dummy, while Stardock, who allready has my founder money, spares a lot of investment. If they hire rookies...how about compensation for us 'inofficial' testers then?
I'd say 2, 7, 8, and winterwonderland 10 seem quite ok. Probably 6 will show up on the map. One problem might get the contrast level with black space background. For myself I prefer logical symbols which inspire me about the background of a whole alien culture. #9 looks like Brazil in Space to me, while others might be .. mandalas? No harm. Update: After ending 1st attempt, Steam loaded some 0mb file to GC3 and so I gave it another try. In MP lobby it then showed this: One of the games wasn't 'grey' any longer, what a surprise. I tried to join this game and got loading screen, but unfortunately the host seemed to end the session. Can't say if it would have worked.&n
Thx for your reply @kin3tix and your support. Untertaken all steps you posted, unfortunately no change in MP. Still get the 'data checksum error with lobby' issue. Besides I got response from Steam support regarding those 2 old beta factions. They said they can't delete them as the files are too small. Anyhow those 2 files can't be the reason, I'm wondering why Stardock doesn't offer single switch-off for Steam
Ongoing from V. 1.02 my multiplayer is broken and I can't play it. Ticket to Stardock support is allready running all the time, but weather they can't catch it or do not have ressources to do it, I can't say. From V. 1.02 to V 1.3 it was a chance to join MP games, but in most cases game crashed while custom factions should get integrated.
