You're welcome. I had the same reaction the 1st time that I came across it. Took me a minute to understand why it was happening. The screenshots helped me recognize it since they just changed the Drengin traits. They didn't use to have Paranoid. Another instance where more information should be displayed. :)
well yes, i most likely didn't say everything i thought. It should possibly say Adjacency Level instead of simply Level in the tooltip for it. Some things do start at lvl 0 but most start at lvl 1 in most other things i've experienced. However, we are still dealing with many tooltip either errors or wishes. I expect them to be made well eventually. Luckily we have devs that consider 1.0 well into the beginning of the project.
Np, It is somewhat unintuitive, it's simply that they give you the (usually) +5% bonus per adjacency level, so starting it at 0 level for 0 bonus most likely makes it easier in the files not to have to add the 1 initially(or subtract 1 from the other viewpoint).
Base adjacent level is 0. I don't recognize that trade resource off the top of my head. So if that doesn't give research adjacency then your capital is adding 1 to the initial 0.
This is the Paranoid Trait in effect. It gives all your planets, starbases, and shipyards free interceptors with which to defend.
Oh, i understand. Well the way you put it as 'forced' makes me wonder. It took me a bit to get when the best time to start producing wealth in GC2 was optimal to prevent bankruptcy and of course that varied on race traits and choices. So, I don't really have an answer for you at this point, things have changed so much in the past few builds.
I did not receive that ach either. I did notice that at the end of the 3rd the continue button was greyed out and had to click the main menu button, not sure if this occurred in your situations, just thought i'd mention it.
Well the economic buildings only benefit you if you pull the slider toward wealth just like the other 2 options. You have to put some production into wealth to get anything from those buildings. They are a % bonus just like manufacturing and research.
I know they recently changed the carrier modules but I still believe the spawns are predefined. As far as constructors, I am sure the Request Constructor feature still only makes the default design, if you obsolete that design the feature breaks. Although if you build the constructors yourself, I think it will pull built inactive constructors before making a shipyard build one.
I have not played with this trait for long personally. However, I did notice it will not work for unique buildings(colony unique, player unique, or galaxy unique). It will rush the first non-unique queued though so your issue may be valid. You should submit a ticket if it is not working at all after a certain point.
well at least now the basic 2 pop assembly improvement is not tied to the yor tree, prior you had to use the yor tree to even build pop, the synthetic pop cap is still ignored as of the last pre 1.0 build.
just an afterthought, my comp is basically ancient however still viable but given the time frame it has gone through several irl events so others might have a better 'solution' for you if yours has been better taken care of(i have random freezes nowadays, not so much since i secured the graphics card, not sure how it wasn't) I hope possibly this helped you at all, i am typically quiet sober so there you go.
lowering the graphics settings seems to help a bit. i usually play zoomed out at the strategic lvl so the graphics are somewhat irrelevant to me. I am waiting for the options to set the zoom lvl for the switch like GC2, they don't have that in yet as far as i know.
I have my page file on my secondary regular hard drive, the size or placement of it doesn't seem to affect the performance too much(tried it on my ssd, the lack of performance increase made me put it back on the rotating drive). In both cases i put it to 8gb min and 16gb max. RAM ftw! (hence the coming upgrades...)
well my computer definitely needs upgrades but i can load insane but it won't play very well (removed fow via console just to see how it might go). I have 8 Gb ram and the rest of my computer is ancient top of the line(2008). A Q9550 processor, 790i ultra sli mobo, 128gb ssd. I usually go with Huge galaxy and it goes quite well, This is the first game that is going to make me rebuild my whole computer mainly due to the max 8gb ram of my mobo. Really wish i could get more ram without a new
Looking at the xml, the planetary projects now give a 5% bonus to the target per 10 manufacturing points funneled in.
I do like your thoughts on this kestlstw. Although they still need to address the synthetic pop improvements ignoring the synthetic pop cap.
I actually just downloaded his save game and tried just that. It still prompts to pick a tech. I am wondering based on the 12ish hour play time if it was started in Beta 5 Patch 3 because the tooltip on the tech ages says he has 274/250 techs researched. I believe it might simply be due to being a previous build save and the specialization change they did which would be resulting in the unplayable state. Unfortunately, this most likely means your game will remain unplayable :\ . Just my thoug

i can't seem to find a way to do what i believe you want to happen although you can zoom out and reposition(on the main map) and zoom in solely on the minimap, minimap changes seem to reposition the main map in most situations
that conflict didn't even occur to me if they intend to have rollover but limit 1 tech per turn, most likely will be harder to resolve Intuitive and Ideological free research on save since it would have to be differentiated from rollover points
Fixed an issue where you wouldn't be able to buy all the techs when you have a bunch of research (like starting the game with the Intuitive trait) Does this happen to include the issue of loading a saved game with unspent research points such as saving on turn 1 with the Intuitive trait(they seem to vanish in this case)? edit: just in case it might help here is a save game(beta 6 opt in) with the default Thalans who have the Intuitive Trait <a href="https://w
that is awesome, thank you for the explanation, my screen name is fairly obvious, ff kid, love my moogles(due to my age snes originally[unfortunately]{went back to the older ones}) and i am very horrible with names, always have been, i really don't care about names, the number changed from 9999 to 65535 due to being hacked once
thank you very much, not sure why i never tried that, just one of those things i suppose, your name reminds me of starfox btw, i know 1 s short but still does, thank you again edit: P.S. love your avatar
