Just experimented a little and I can't get any blueprint to spawn except those used already in the xml. I tried using 5 other blueprints with a trigger that worked but it would not spawn those. Here is a list of the ones they use as a stringparameter and will result in a ship AwardScoutBlueprint AwardSurveyBlueprint AwardCutterBlueprint AwardDefenderBlueprint AwardGunboatBlueprint AwardColonyBlueprint AwardConstructorBlueprint Awar
The file is DLC4_PlanetTraitDefs.xml. 3 of the 12 are tagged extreme and have the technology requirement for colonization. Find true and remove it for each then find AtmosphericCleansing <
Dropbox Download This should fix the issues with the triggers that weren't functioning. I tested most of the triggers that weren't working and they do now. Credit to Xexamedes for the fix. I just stuck the tag everywhere it needed to be. And of course credit to Deathwynd for this wonderful mod. Just for the record, as of writing GalCiv3 v1.7
waiting to exploit the new system they put in to the best of your ability? i am sure you will and should look forward to that and letting us all know how that goes as soon as you have it down [e digicons]o_O[/e]
or what naselus said, you can edit it directly where it is if you like
you could probably use search to find it but it is in your steam folder, default would be c:/programfiles(x86)/steam/steamapps/common/GalacticCivilizationIII/data/game you would copy the file you want to modify(in this case galcivaidefs.xml) into your mod folder which would be c:/users/(username)/mydocuments/mygames/galciv3/mods/(folder name of your choosing)/game then open the file with notepad and edit away, make sure use mods is enabled and should load up ba
It's been a while since I read it but I believe SD said that unchecking the Use Mods box in settings would fix this problem. If that's not it then I am unsure.
Yes. ImprovementDefs.xml has this for Gaia Vortex GaiaTheory However, in ThalanTechDefs.xml the internal name of the tech is ThalanGaiaTheory making it not able to be built. These 2 things need to match.</
@Larsenex: Yes. We have to research Interstellar Governance before we can even see the individual planet wheels. I don't see this going well for a lot of people. Edit: Although at least the global wheel is still available from the start.

This seems to produce the result you want. Although, I just checked and it is tied to the faction and remains in effect for the faction even after change of ownership of the planet. OnEventChoice Faction &
It exists in all 8 faction's tech trees. Screenshot of the terran's. https://www.dropbox.com/s/vdmrpzyjorsa4z3/Screenshot%202015-08-23%2021.05.37.png?dl=0
Found it. The command to change who you are playing as is "localplayer ". With this you can change yourself to any of the other ai's and view their research and whatever else you are interested in. The factions are indexed according to galaxy creation. 0 being your chosen faction then 1 through x according to the opponents list on galaxy creation. So localplayer 3 would make you the 3rd opponent that was listed. Hope this helps.
god mode will let you enter to view any structure/planet. The command is simply "god". As far as possibly seeing their research, i'm not sure of the top of my head.
Just did a quick test and the drones worked fine on gc3 1.2 with just the survey ship, possibly there is something else going on with your particular game, as far as the planet one, it is modeled after Outreach5 so would be created populated by you
gotta love odd numbers [e digicons]O:)[/e]
the best part of that horrible last experience was that my ship didn't drop the modules he wanted even though I am sure it was easy for him, I shouldn't have even been on at that point but oh well, actually want to recover my acct, seems lost atm. I know it has changed alot since i left but still one hell of a game [e digicons][/e] edit: note the last edit that was before your response maybe
I, personally, can not wait for this. I am very happy to see this. I spent quite a bit of time with Eve and will be speechless to use your mod. I am not sure if you will be able or rather it would be a good idea to keep the factions to their preferred weapon type although you could go outside those easily if you wanted in Eve so naturally you could here(possibly make the preferred weapon of the faction cheaper than the other branches or the modules). I am sure unique tech trees and modules co

i am sure you were but i was hoping to see how else it would, deadly serious requires video nowadays especially for something like that
i want to say something here to your response but am doing my best to refrain p.s. (referencing another thread) i appreciated the quick answer although i am sure you could have thought of a more hilarious one but i did like it :)
I swear that I heard of one doing that at one time but any that know me know that possibly I have no clue what I am talking about. Besides, they would most likely be happy to play and are of course worried about much more than a player would be while playing it than the player would be so of course you could crush them since their mind would be on game issues than just playing to crush you. just an afterthought, the minors might be ordered after the majors in the same order they are listed in the xml based on which are actually in a given game, although i figure testing would produce better immediate results than comparing which are in your game and the xml order in which they are listed
