Any examples of games where they became a threat? I wish I could make them stronger myself.

I paid for the dread lords to return but all to often they get taken out by a single Ai. In galciv 2, you really had to make an alliance to fight them. I liked this and felt like it changed the dynamics to more of a fight together vs die alone tension. Please tell me how to get this feeling back or how to make the dread lords stronger? I really appreciate the content and really want to just increase the power of these events.
Amazing work. Please don't think your ai work isn't worth it. Theres a reason why I play legendary heroes and galciv as opposed to endless legend and endless space. Your Ai work makes Stardock the only choice for me. Everyone else's Ai is plain dumb.
Better Death Stars! Blowing up planets makes the game so dramatic and intense! I feel so evil when I commit genocide against a race I've pushed to the brink.
1. As a casual player, I always thought that playing as the Drath in GC2 and making people go to war was hilariously fun. Being able to manipulate the AI and then see the drama that played out was great. I used to create little stories in my head about the wars going on. The fact that the AI was great and UNPREDICTABLE, for me at least, made the games play out differently each time. Sometimes I'd be more warlike, others cultural and still others tech turtling. It also helped that the AI c
I've been digging through the AI ship-equipping coding for a good while now, and I do not believe it is possible for the AI to adapt to your loadouts in GC3. Perhaps it can choose between the ships it has available to design, to pick the ones with the best defenses vs your weapons, but in that case it is not able to (for instance) react to the player if the player is using medium missile ships. GC3 AI is already a more interesting game in my opinion. Not necessarily better at this point, but at least more fun to play against.
That's cool. How is that so? Playing the CU on GC2, the AI seems to adapt armor to my weapons but I've heard that isn'
I've played the community update version of Galciv 2 for almost 50 hours now. It's awesome and I've purchased Galciv 3 already. My only question is how the ai compares between these two. Am I better off sticking with the community update for GC2 or go for 3?
Thanks for the advice, what about the fleet differences of guardian, assault, support etc. How many of each?
Just wondering since I dont want to build ships randomly and throw them at the enemy. Which should I build? What are my options for fleets? How do I war?
Hey I just installed galciv on bootcamp on a retina macpro but the text seems a little fuzzy and the ui text is a bit small. I also keep getting the message that my resolution doesn't support a ui of this size. I'm confused. All I've done is set the res to 1900 x 1440

The guy has some valid concerns. Instead of attacking him for i
Before I purchase it, I would really like to know that I'm not gimping myself. Also, I purchased the previous galciv and remember the part where some AI personalities were irreversibly broken. This is gone right?
