Are the xendar menace and guild mega events?

i5, 8 gb, 256 hard drive, with dedicated gpu. Fully updated. My brother has the same specs and the same problem. UPDATE: This happens with 1.71 and 1.8 opt in. I am at a loss as to what's going on! I'm fully updated in drivers and everything.

I've read through the patch notes but I don't understand what was changed for diplomacy. The description of the update mentioned that there were improvmements to it. Can anyone explain some of them?
Expanding the playerbase? Galciv, a game that takes hours to finish if not dozens, has never and will never be expanded more significantly by multiplayer improvements. You know how you expand your playerbase? By doing what made you popular and what you do best even better. I honestly don't see how your logic is working here. Single player games can flesh out their AI and story events. Multiplayer games don't need those. Eitherway, my post isn't going to shift them
I appreciate the work on diplomacy but your multiplayer focus is concerning. As far as I know, developers put resources into what would give the maximum number of players the most satisfaction. Yet you decided to spend significant resources for a feature that almost no one, according to your own data, uses? There are so many suggestions on this forum about ways to improve the game in ways players ACTUALLY make use of such as UI, endgame features, AI, events, etc. And if the excuse comes
Stellaris has a good idea with end game super enemies that show up. An increased inclination for the AI to ally against super powers would help too such as the "realm divided" mechanic of shogun 2 TW Just those 2 things would solve everything. I'm not sure why Stardock hasn't ever done them or even made them an option.
What sized maps do ya'll play on?
I play on medium - large. Anything bigger and by the time I get around to dealing with the other side of the map, everyone's researched all techs and its just battle of the gods.
Is the endgame. There comes a point where I just start snowballing and I know that as long as I keep doing what i'm doing, I'll just be mopping up the rest of the game. I absolutely love Stardock and have galciv 2, sorcerer king, legendary heroes, fallen enchantress and galciv 3 + mercenaries. But please stardock, make the endgame more intense. It's really disheartening to know that the early and mid game are the most exciting. I hate to bring Stellaris int
See stuff like this, attention to AI, continuous polish months and years after release, is why I always buy stardock games. Stellaris release didn't even make me blink nor did Endless legend. Keep doing what you guys do! Looking forward to the diplomacy update too! Please release more mini DLC so I can continue supporting you! Paradox has millions of dlc.
Its literally the first thing that pops up when you search for the galciv 3 wiki. And no problem. Ive almost exclusively played 4x games for the past few years and nothing can compare to what stardock puts out. We can whine about this or that but take a look at the paltry offerings out there and you'll quickly appreciate this game even more. When I see people bash the game I think well what are they comparing this to? Civilization, endless legend, etch have brain dead Ai. This, legendary
Trying to get a dev to comment with no luck [e digicons]X|[/e] Do any of you disagree that this will solve the mop up phase boredom?
In the interview Wardell stated that due to the way some people responded to the planetary wheel changes they are not gun shy about making major overhauls to existing systems in the base game. As a result they have decided that invasion won't get a look in until a standalone expansion that is probably coming in 2017, which would explain why it is no longer on the roadmap for vanilla GC3. I think this is definitely gamechanging for me and other people who like building up a mostly trade and diplomacy or even research focused civilization. I now have the option to greatly expand my use of credits and resources and to an extent, keep up with the more warlike factions at least until I have time to buildup a force of mine. I'd be interested in knowing mercenary respawn rate if they're destroyed.
Quoting stevezar, reply 27 Will the AI know how to hire mercs? Yep. It also does so intelligently so you can use what mercenaries they hire as a guide to what strategy they're trying to implement.
Hey frogboy, I'm r
Day 1 purchase.
Funny how you could take the time to post on the forum but not read the official gamepedia that describes everything. I made a post about how I kept getting owned. After reading it and asking for advice, I'm owning. Simple.
How do sensors help in a fight?
Can the devs comment on the "realm divide" thread I made? Allowing the AI to be more aggressive towards any player getting to close to victory, or even allying with each other against the top player, would completely eliminate the mop of phase of 4x and turn it into something much more exciting. Perhaps a simple increased aggression modifier and an increased priority to ally would accomplish it.
It would be great if a dev could chime in on this too ;) Honestly, fixing the mop up phase, a common problem with most 4x games, would give a game of galciv 3 SO MUCH more longevity. You no longer have that point in the middle of a game where it just starts snowballing in your favor with no return. Pshaw? Frogboy?
I was thinking that it would be great for making the endgame interesting if the AI's turned on whichever player was closest to any of the victories. It could be a severe negative on diplomatic relations, so much so that unless you're allies or really close friends, it's pretty much close to or outright war declarations. This would slowdown the steamrolling of the AI and the "mop up" phase would get more interesting by fighting a galaxy united against you. This cou
The Bowlea colonized a precursor world right next to both of us. Did not expect that.
Apologies but pshaw I also read that some people complained that one of the perks that negatively affect enemy ships in your zone wasn't working.
Hi pshaw, can you confirm that the perks that affect enemy ships negatively when they're in your zone and the escort perk work as well?
