I use a larger map than recommended but I lower the player count and the game seems to run fine until near the very end when it slows down a bit but it doesn’t crash. I’m fine with the slow down because I selected this large map against their recommendation. Just be mindful they warned us not to stress our systems but people do and then QQ because the game crashes.

The above ideas are fantastic. I am however ignorant to how difficult these would be to implement. I would like to add two things. First I would hope if Stardock does enhance the combat they leave an auto resolve option for when you know you’ve won you just have to play the remaining 150 turns to “win”. Second the prospect of carriers scares the living daylights out of me. They are so damning I don’t use them unless the AI rushes me 2 turns after
I had this bug on my last game and what I started doing was making sure to save before every invasion while tedious it did allow me to finish the game.
I’ve never had the AI fail to out colonize me this is the first time I think I might out colonize them on the second to largest map with only 7 players total. I agree with the difficulty bump suggested. But yes the AI needs to use their ships from the government as something other than scouts.
When I settled these worlds I didn’t think I was getting the +5 promethion. These time it was one of the first world’s I settled and I am absolutely sure I did not get it. Sorry if this bug has already been reported. Has anyone else encountered this? I am currently playing v 3.2 without any mods. I am also able to build max population on this world at least according to the tooltip.
I usually see them but sometimes I don’t it won’t let me place them on the edges but I can in the middle. Not sure why so now I just save before I invade every world if needed I can just do anouther invasion and hope for better spawns not sure why it does this though.
Well I remembered why I also used auto resolve now when I go to the planet to place the legions I am unable to place them or cancel this attack so I am stuck until I end the game has anyone ever encountered this or have any idea why this would occur? It simply won’t let me place legions so I can attack.
Cities were destructible in the previous patch and now that has been changed. This really makes things difficult for synthetics. Please address this.
I do trade more with the AI because of the tech specializations and find myself researching things that I know the AI won’t research so I can just trade for it also means I put more effort into diplomatic endeavors then I otherwise would. The only thing I would change is the ability to decline a gift because sometimes the AI gives you a tech you didn’t want and then you are locked out of what you wanted. ( however it would be helpful if you could glance at your the tech tree first
I don’t know if this is possible. If it is and there is a way to tune it so it was balanced or if it was just balanced this would be my first mod download and probably my only mod. Good luck.
Ok I got a bug awhile back while invading and had been auto resolving ever since I will try without that and see what happens
I use tidal and still take horrific legion losses which is fine invading is tough work but what I don’t care for is my empire with ridiculous amounts of cash and the majority of other resources isn’t able to produce enough legions. Which is why I’d love a black market or overpriced mission things that you simply would not use unless it is obvious you are going to win. Like maybe a market that is 7 or 8 times the cost of the regular market or 10 times. Or a mission that takes
I really don’t get the dead zone from turn 25 to 75 that is the early game col rush stage. But please is there anyway we could do something about the late game legion grind I am buying off the npcs world’s that have +15 legions for like 200k also I think I am money capped I need resources but I have brought out the entire market could we add like a black market or incredibly costly missions to acquire resources at the end of the game I am fine with it costing ridiculous amounts of
I haven’t played the base game since I got the DLC ( which by the way is highly worth it but it does add a lot of new things to learn ) I believe you need administrators to build survey ships in the base game I know you do in the expansions. You will find them at the top of your screen among the resources. You will unlock more via technology or can train citizens to become administrators ( I am unsure if the base game has citizens if it does you will unlock one every ten turns ) </
So I am in the late game grind with my murderous machines ripping worlds away from the ai 1 or 2 at a time. However with the severe durantium shortage I have been turning my citizens into generals for the legions what I didn’t notice for awhile was since my generals were maxed for civilization wide pool it was allowing me to create them but not gain the legions I’m embarrassed to say how many citizens it took me notice this but it was at least 3 or four. It worked fine again when
I mean compared to similar games I have previously played the speed is like I am at turn 120ish even though the game just started and I am only at turn 25 with nearly the exact settings as my previous game. The only major difference is I turned the habitable planets to common and changed the AI to genius 7 Ai immense map
I started a new game today and it felt like the turns were noticeably longer. Is this just my imagination or has anyone noticed the turns taking slightly longer. If it is this noticeable at the very start of the game I am a little apprehensive about what turn 250 will look like.
I’ve been playing synthetics for awhile and I believe they are currently the strongest. Even with the slow start if managed properly you will dominate. I will say this though no matter your ideological leanings you should start good. Get the first full colony ship park it on your home. Leave with the minimum population and scout stick close to home and hope events happen quick. Pick the next one in the three and hopefully that new class ten will be in your home system or close by. At th
No I don’t I find it so vastly underpowered I never utilize it. While I don’t have a civilization built around trade I hate the fact that the monetary outcomes are so abysmally low that even in the start of the game it simply isn’t worth building trade ships. I feel trade should be buffed to the point from where the only factor it pertains to is relationships into a viable way to make a small but noticeable amount of coin. I would be curious to h
Thank you for making cities destructible. Now my muderous machines can effectively destroy the galaxy without preserving useless monuments to organics that lower my efficiency. Seriously thank you guys.
