perhaps the range ain't very satisfying, but I am sure will all our ideals combined, we can make life support a mandatory life support system with all the changes you would get with a decent system. Or eliminate the ship component and then make the changes necessary for the community to be more satisfied with the system.
Tyrantissar
Well, to be honest I didn't like the system that much either, I was guessing this was a sad attempt to implement a feature/reward for you going through all the crappy choices they want you to make like blood on the black market or starvation. Neutral bonus was rather OP and I would always go for good and bad choices just to get that bonus research coming in from the neutral bonuses. Overall I don't think this feature mattered much to me, I wouldn't care if it got removed o
Quoting Rovert10, reply 1 It's a safe bet we will though I never understood why people want them, then again I don't understand the whole achievement thing either. Nor do I, except for bragging rights, which I really don't understand.
I second that thought. Please remind me when they do serve a purpose, I might as well start selling them and hopefully getting some income in.
Sigh. Why does every game have to be a role playing game? Isn't there anyone else who just wants a competitive turn based strategy game? I hate feeling so alone in this world.
Your not alone, trust me, that is what Gal Civ I-III will be all about hopefully, We got some interesting surprises in store along with some multiplayer community and whatever the likes. Guys, once again space pollution
Guess Incertyor Namier when I get the chance
Um, in order to deplete metal, you would have to of had chemical changes to all metals in the galaxy so that they are no longer metals... this is by far the most stupid threads ever, any of you that has taken chem of any level know that there are such things as "physical" change and "chemical" change, ones that are reversible and one that is not. I am sure aliens wouldn't be stupid enough to burn precious metals like oil and gas. A far more realistic feature of depletion is the op
Quoting DivineWrath, reply 7 While you seem to be having fun making art, this is not what I'm looking for. I'm looking for tools to better manage my planets, not play around and make everything look nice. Back in GalCiv 2, I wanted ways to quickly figure out if I had planetary essentials (ie starport, counter espionage center, etc), determine how many factories I had, population management (ie farming, morale
Tyrantissar, these designs look quite impressive, and I think your creativity deserves praise, but have you any information about how far along SD is with the whole project? I would imagine that major features like main map design and planet view design has already been done, and that they are well into coding such major features. Perhaps they should hire you for the first DLC effort. Keep trying and maybe they will notice and do so.[/quot
great, enough said
Intriguing, we could all take the boring route and say the Korx join the Krynn, but why would such an evil trading civilization be pirating stuff instead trading their goods? I think that would be a very strange plot twist to see the Korx to be behaving this way and would make an interesting long term story of what they are really up to.
Just imagine what special effects Stardock has to lighten this city up like hover cars or fancy lighting or all those treats that would make every city beautiful.
its fine if you don't like the model, I just thought it would be interesting for the first time in history somebody actually made a hexagon city growth simulation... unless you count the other civilization game by Firaxis. *** EDIT*** I love this model, it starts out with small tiny buildings and progressively gets taller, wider, bigger and repeat. Some structures will take multiple hexes, making it possible to have such a variety of buildings that do different thing
https://forums.galciv3.com/449605/page/1/#3411821 Check out this link, it may not have the designs of planetary improvements yet, but it is just a simple ideology. I highly recommend this model because I made it. Then again designing planetary improvements will be easier once we establish a system to put the improvements on...
Looks like a good vision to me. enough said, unless any of you want to argue that squares are the way to go?
Been working around the clock, I managed to upgraded my old model and made it far superior then it was. Perhaps the ideal flashed in my head, so I designed a model and put it together in about 10 minutes. Hope you like the results EDIT: Please, if you like to see a 3D city growth simulation for the turns you just need that extra production, I assure you that you can enjoy the mufti tiered system where your cities can prosper with time and growth. The more buildings you add the more li
I wish for a planet that would contain cities = class If the first wish came true, I would wish that in each of those cities you can assign every hex what kind of buildings you want to grow in there like a plant or like a landlord wanting other people to make a successful business in that location. <span style="font

OK, I think I am up to speed. It took my 3 hours to find out how stubborn you people are, think outside the box people.... Why not be open minds a bit, go beyond the fact that there is tactical combat, there is a method you can include that will be SATISFACTORY Imagine a game that is Tactical, but you still maintain a nice short cinematic that will auto resolve. Q: HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? <
My star would be Incertyornameheer
Oh, what about a star named Pun, it would either be a punishment or very punny to name a star Pun in honor of all bad jokes.
Pony Lando anybody?
Civilization V, I burned away over 900 hours in that game, I hope that galactic civilization thrives when they bring their ideas to the table.
with this system you can do that, I finished saying that all tiles in the city view are usable, the only acceptation is farms. Just select the type of building, click and drag and you got a line. Also the city locations are semi random, but still all tiles are usable so you can organize them the way you want.
I won't be able to reply till later today, see you guys and feel free to comment or discuss.
If you think GCII system is overly complicated, check this out Reduced 71% Original 800 x 600 This map is a class 17 planet because it has 1
