For some reason I can't attack the Drengin, although I can attack any other race. I've waited over 100 turns in case they had unlocked the trait that prevented them from being attacked for that long, but no go. I can't think of any other reason I can't attack them. No treaties or anything like that. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

I tried to submit a ticket but kept getting errors about cross-site forgery?
Just seems to me that on the immense maps, starting off is so slow, it'd be nice to get a bit of a booster. Maybe ship range instead of ship speed?
Ah well, it was just an idea :)
With the introduction of Immense sized maps, the beginning of any game is going to be fairly slow. Ships take extreme lengths of time to travel between planets, and--well, immense amounts of time to travel between races. However, on Tiny maps, you run into each other almost instantly. I propose (perhaps a gameplay option?) that we have scaling default movement speeds. So for example, the Medium map would have the current default shipspeed. The
There are definitely some weird popup and refresh issues currently.
I can't even find the, "Hey, let's stop fighting" option....
Ah, it looks like in the Govern screen, when you set Shipyards Building X should Build Y, it's inserting Y above X, not replacing X at all.
The worst are the ones that say one per planet and only add bonuses to that planet, when they're for the entire civilization. I'm looking at you, Hyperion Shrinker.
I've seen it in battle viewer for ship rating, and for Power rating, so it seems to be in several different places.
I've been seeing this a lot. I'm betting they've got a string somewhere set as int32 instead of int64, so when it hits that limit, it flips back to the "beginning," which is the lowest negative it can get to. The max on an int32 is 2,147,483,647 .

Altairans have way too much influence than they should. http://i.imgur.com/RdBTv6G.png You can see I have most of the galaxy under my influence, but the Altairans have 49% clout in the UP. Graphically, it looks almost like any of your influence in their ZoC is added to their influence?
I've noticed this too, and it seems to me that it is caused by attempting to build something while a ship is moving. If you move a ship and select a planet/shipyard before it has used all its moves (or arrived at its destination), the queue won't update.
I think you're right. I experimented with this and it does seem that the queue only doesn't refresh if I go into a queue screen w
Some odd things that I've noticed in .70. Running Win7, NVidia GeForce 670, latest drivers. Currently playing as Terran. The ship path lines sometimes can't be seen when zoomed all the way out. It seems to be mostly the horizontal portion that disappears. Influence seems to be way askew. The Altairans have fewer planets, and population, and galaxy coverage, but somehow have 49% of the galactic influence. I have 25%. I have half a d
How about, instead of the generic starbase background, the entire thing is overlaid on the galaxy map with the starbase centered? Then you'd be able to see everything you need
Check your Power status. It's on the top right, third tab over. The higher the power, the more military might you have. If there's a significant difference between yours and your opponents' I would suggest building up more military some more first. Also, anyone who's allied with whoever you attack will become your enemy. if the race has unlocked certain Pragmatic Ideologies (no way to tell), then everyone that isn't allied wit
At a certain point, the Altairan's military Power went from high to negative. I don't know if it's a cycling thing(hit the limit of the available number or sequence size), or related to the negatives that you get on a ship sometimes?
I had this happen too. However, soon after I found that survey ship, my game CTD. When I reloaded from the autosave, and the survey ship was found again, it magically had the survey module. It seems like it's a bug in the ship spawn code.
Running .70 on Windows 7, playing as Terran In my production queue, both on a planet and on a shipyard, sometimes the UI doesn't refresh. For example, on Earth, I had double clicked on Hyperion Supply System to start that project. Nothing appeared to happen. Double clicked again, nothing happened. Canceled Economic Stimulus. Nothing happened--still looked like Economic Stimulus was the only thing being built. Closed out of the Earth planetar
Is there any way to make external shipyards unattackable, or put them back on a planet? With them being external, I have to double the number of ships I use for defense, and without a shipyard, if I'm ever under attack, I can't build ships because the shipyards are the first things they go for. I like being able to move, and link multiple planets to the shipyard, but having them immediately destroyed makes things really difficult! Maybe I'm just a bad strategis
Er, I think you might be posting to the wrong thread?
I'm having the same problem.
If you have a planet building Economic Stimulus, Research Project, Cultural Festival, etc, and a nearby anomaly gives it the Rushed status, it prevents anything that you add to your build queue from that time on from being built. The status just stays as Rushed on that never-ending project, and never starts on any of the others.
