Here is where I first noticed it. Sorry to derail this thread! https://forums.galciv3.com/464254/page/1/#3543193

I've been watching it stop on anomalies all evening (last night).
Survey ships also only survey 1 thing per turn, even if they have moves left and could easily reach another anomaly.
I've literally never seen one that gave that much, whatever my treasury was. The ones right before, and right after gave somewhere between 1 and 100 bc.
...lol I'm not sure how I did this. My treasury is at 999999 anyway, and my surveyor just found this :)
Had this problem since beta 5. Use the Quickstart instead of New Game to get a new map for now.
Agreed. Abundant gives me maybe 5-10 habitable planets in an entire cluster, and most of them are class 10 or lower.
Agreed! Put it in the mouseover, so that instead of saying "You must wait longer," it says, "You must wait x turns!"
Antimatter and Durantium extractors on starbases that aren't mining antimatter or durantium? Beyond Mortality Tech has typos in description (Filed instead of Field). All my colonies are at 100% Approval, but my civilization approval is at 93%.
In .91, the icons for the precursor studies modules (Xeno Archeology lab, etc) are missing in the build menu.
I sometimes get 4 pts per constructor after researching this, actually. But I haven't been able to figure out why or how.
Bugs: Coming back from a wormhole ride, the explored area seems to skip sections. It seems to fix itself after a save/load though. When you try to scroll with the mouse wheel, lists still only move small amounts, much less than you would expect from that much turning. Grabbing the scroll bar works, but when you let go of the scroll bar, it often acts like you still have hold of it, and
Playing Terran. And that'd be odd because the same colors are used...just for different relics...
The colors are switched for me too. A lot of things are also fainter or grayer in this version. Mining resources and relics are laid under the galaxy grid, so that makes them blend into the background more at high zooms. Relic colors are dimmer and harder to see. The differences between Explored, nonExplored, FoW, non-FoW, ZoC and non-ZoC and the mix of the above get very hard to see as well.
Minor races are building starbases way far away from their home planet, and stealing a lot of the available resources. I'm talking about halfway across an Immense map here. They also seem to know where those resources are without having to explore first.
Hmm, unless Beta 6 is amazing, I think 3 weeks is a bit optimistic. There are still some major stability problems (crashing combat viewer in particular), balancing problems, and playability issues that need a lot of work.
Doesn't help if they get there first, which they usually will, since you would often have to be building colony ships and constructors, and military ships, instead of just constructors.
That's how it was in GC2--Minor races could only settle or construct bases within the sector their homeworld was in.
I'm also looking forward to an option to tell other races to stay out o my ZoC!
It's very annoying, isn't it? I think that minor races should only be able to build starbases x number of hexes away from their home planet. It seems silly that they can only have one planet, but can throw a starbase halfway across an Immense map.
What is the range limit for minor races building starbases? I have 2 minor races near me, and they've snagged almost all the mining resources in my ZoC, even though their home planet is a substantial distance away. We don't have sectors any more, but I would guess that the furthest starbase might be 2-3 sectors away from their homeworld.
Having this problem too.
Well the real problem is that this pops up for Power and Ship Attack values too :(
I couldn't tell if it fixed the issue where if your value (money, power, ship attack, etc) became greater than ~2.14 billion, it would loop back to -2.14 billion?
Then I have no clue, sorry :(
