You do realize that you can just take the next bigger map?
MapSizeDefs.xml is what your looking for :)

very nice :D
Thanks to have tested the improvement, I didn't thought to comment out the DurantiumCost. So I will have to wait and see if the problem is solved in the next versions of the game.
If you haven't done it yet you should open a support ticket, since this doesnt happen with the base game (there are simply no upgrades to Improvements with Resource-Costs)
And the second improvement I pasted is the new building, the upgrade that should be available after researching the tech XenoManufacturingMethods. It isn't the InternalName of the tech, but the GenericName, in order to make the building available to all factions.
Yep you'r right . As for preclusions, you shouldnt need any for the durantium refinery, its a colony unique so no need to preclud

I usually play on insane with ~10 Factions, anything more than that makes it far to crowded, i also dont play with all abundant, i try to set it so i get ~20 Planets per Faction. Dont got Problems with crashes, but usually at around turn 100-150 ships start moving really slow -.- Mods: Informative Diplomacy (Edited), MPGC3 (mostly AI stuff) Specs: i7-4770K 24GB RAM Sapphire Tri-X R9 290 OC
I usually get all Idiology-Point-Improvements in Benevolent first, and after that get the Malevolent ones. Then I can pretty much take everything in both trees
I actually tried putting thrusters on larger escorts to try and get them to help carrier drones in battle instead of hanging back doing jack as they do. To my utter amazement after moving forward nicely for a few seconds, they turned back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nope drones are to fight on their own.
Most likely because Escorts have ManeuverType Defender and try to stay close to Capitals/Supports
It usually happens to me if i can build modules in a starbase and have a constructor in it, which i cant move out because it has no movementpoints left, after moving it out the next turn the symbol (orange upward arrow) stays.
You simply need to remove the ... tags, this also means that you cant upgrade those improvements anymore, so if you want to replace a lvl1 factory with a lvl2 you need to destroy the lvl1 factory first
In the 1.83 update I've noticed more and more where starbases are continuing to show that they can be upgraded with the upgrade indicator when no docked constructors are avail. If one attempts to build another module it adds it to que. The modules are single point build modules so it's not a multipoint issue. Has anyone else seen this?
Have seen this too, but already in earlier versions
Are you sure? I mean, I can take the .xsd file and alter it and put it in the schema folder. Does that not change anything? That never occurred to me...
maybe you should try to look into what .xsd s do
I also use the auto-upgrade extensively, with around 14~ Starbases per Planet. you just have to use a 5-Module-Constructor, build Starbase click the 4 Modules and forget, everything else happens automagically^^

Its not only mercs actually, the weapons from the latest dlc are also affected only thing what doesnt happen in the unmodded game is the anomaly thing, because there are only bonis to hp, shiprange and moves, for which we dont even have tooltips -.-"
This actually happens in the unmodded game as well (mercenaries), you get one line for every level, would be better to ad those in one line and put the number of the level behind it somthing like this: Constitution +10%(5)
its not that easy, cause the latest component are often bigger then older ones, so they might simply not fit
