Wow, wow, and double wow. That is a lot of fantastic sounding tune ups! Everyone of those changes represent individual improvements in gameplay that should have a significant aggregate gameplay effect. Very nice polish work. Great reaction to feedback. And the AI is starting to live up to all your bragging and threats. That is scary and thrilling all by itself. Another sign of learning from users and user input. I agree with Rhonin, keep the
That's an interesting thing. It still means 500 planets + your bonus admin points. I'm not sure how you would run out with those kinds of numbers. But if we sent an admin to a planet, what effect would you want?
Technically, 10 x 5 = 50, not 500. I checked my calculator and it agrees. I consider 50 a built in hardcap for planets. In fact, that is a challen
Ok I looked into this further and it does appear that the largest map sizes ARE smaller (in terms of sheer number of tiles. They are much larger in terms of number of objects).
Thanks for the confirmation and the update. Good response time to resolution, too. Not a lot of companies can do that.
The game is not "all about the colony rush". I know because that used to be my main strategy and now it will cripple you if you take it too far. I play with much fewer than recommended number of opponents so there is plenty of room to expand. Don't do it. It's a trap. Mostly because it eats up administrators. The game is not "all about the colony rush" because there are dozens of other things to worry about. My main issue right now is figuring
I am not much of a modder or coder, but from what I do know, that is a nifty little trick. Kudos for both the accomplishment and the desire to do such a thing. That's class.
Gameplay. It isn't related to Crusade one way or the other. With the changes to Crusade, I can probably make the map bigger. That said, it's pretty disheartening seeing Crusade at 41% because people think Crusade is changing map sizes. [e digicons]:([/e] http://store.steampowered.com/app/527070/Galactic
I am working on my main faction "The Hidden Ecolophagy". The faction is based on little glowing mushrooms. It is my hope to build their background story into their dialogue flavor text, as well as have an excuse to show off my unusual ships. I have a second faction that is based on spiders, big spiders, big spiders with space ships and bad attitudes. Same ships, but I expect that dialogue for them will be interesting and fun to write.
I have not been able to find any 1950s saucer shape UFO ships for my Digitizers. Any ideas that I can do.
I found a part that worked for me. I am away from game and can't search for the part number. It is a non-faction part, I remember that. It is used in one of my posted ships on the Workshop. That ship is named "Fleet Commandingeer", spelled just like tha
. Essentially what I am asking the more experienced players here is whether there is a sweet spot between Population, Production and Morale? Is it possible to have an Empire where everybody is happy? Thank you.
You started your post with a seeming assumption that Morale did not matter. "Morale be damned". Then you ask this question. There is a contradiction in there somewhere. First
Under Govern find the tab Commands. set all ships from this shipyard to this rally point. However, I am not sure you can set a rally point on an object, but there are several options you can use and something might work out for you.
A lot has changed and a lot is changing. Crusades is coming and will change the game even more. I recommend diving in and seeing what has changed. I personally think all the DLC is worth it, but I get it for free. Crusades is coming and will change the game even more. A repeated comment, but it deserves emphasis. There is not a lot of activity in the lobby, but some people arrange private MP games.
My error on which forum you are on. Sorry.
I believe you are requested to not post Crusades information on the general forum, but on the Discord forum arranged for that purpose.
Autocarpus Viriles, Followed quickly by Monsatium Deposits and Harmony Crystals. Population for the win! :)
Still on the Discord chat. Frogboy is still working on it. Last update approx an hour ago.
I do not see such a sharp difference in the two halves in your screenshot. There is some shadowing due to light source being on the right, but it looks like it would change if you rotated the ship. And that doesn't match your description. The "panels" have some dark panels, but I don't know if that is supposed to be there or not. Should the entire saucer section be light grey with red trim? You could post the ship on the Steam Workshop. Then post

If I need to delete all saves, I navigate to the folder and use ctrl-a and delete. It seems a bit much to go through the bother of creating a power shell, but if it works for you, go for it! Just as we all have different play styles, we have different styles in everything else as well. :)
If you are getting stars named "Star System", then I don't think that specific string comes from the base code but must be coming from somewhere in your mod. Good luck!
You people are as more-than-Insane as your map sizes! :) I find the present Insane quite satisfying, however, I will admit to wanting to try even larger just to see how well it worked. I do have one of those eight core, 32gig, SSD systems and am very curious. I have done things more extreme to other hardware. Then again, I often had to fix things afterward. :( Sometimes, I was fully authorized. They were certain it couldn't be broken at al

I played around a bit and I couldn't make it happen on purpose, so I have no idea how you made it happen by accident. ;) You might get better response with a ticket to Stardock. I don't know what to tell you. :(
Will Crusades make more use of my multi-core CPU? On that subject, I saw something that looked super exciting in a soak session. I love it when Brad gets to show off a little geeky under-the-hood stuff. He is so obviously geek happy. I'd be exactly the same way in his circumstance. "Hey, look at this!" :) Related question: If I walk away from my game for an hour, have the AI players done some sort of deep down analysis while I was gone? &n
