I just hope they put it back to where it was in 1.03! This game was advertised on this forum by Derek Paxton with his 100 opponent game which is what got us all interested in buying GC3 that's why I bought a brand new computer to be able to play vs upto 100 AI and issue was insane maps are 4x bigger than the old immense but are now nerfed downwards to only have 1.5x the stars and planets.I digress, you want a harder game up the amount of opponents and put the pirates on abundant with slow

Derek Paxton- Balance Rebalance of the mass of Sensor systems. Does this^ mean no more sensorboats (sensor loaded cargo hull) ? Also more importantly has the base amount of stars and planets on a abundant insane map been either been fixed or put back to what it was? and if so what is it in 1.03?
Just to let people know I had opted back out of 1.02 and kept my version at 1.01 because of the nerfing I went on steam today and despite the fact I'd opted out it had downloaded ver 1.02 and I am now stuck with it! I've scored over 100 points with my games and been wiped off the scoreboard due to ver 1.0 being released I've been too busy to get myself back on the table yet.I scored 16 points for completing the tutorial in under 200 turns.And if true Publius his game score should be wiped as it was caused by a bug or exploit.Paul did say frogboy was working on the scoring system?

I'll politely say this - ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND? limiting number and size of ship the boys gone loco! This IS why I bought GC3! its bad enough we have the same logistical limits on fleets from GC2 let alone limit the total unit numbers! [e digicons]:thumbsdown:[/e]

if your buying a computer to play GC3 like I did then to play GC3 you'll need 8GB+ of ram preferably more ( I have 16GB) as 4GB wont cut it and the recommend spec of 6Gb is laughable atm until the game is optimised a lot and if you want to play insane maps get 8-16GB

All I'll say is this: Just because you can SEE something on the map doesn't necessarily mean you can get it before someone else does? I haven't used the sensor cargo ships yet in GC3 but even using the survey ship and 2 or 3 scouts I often uncover more stuff than I can get colony and/or constructors out to in time before some other faction/race snaps it up,such is life and GC3.But please bare in mind MP only allows up to medium maps atm? whereas insane maps

One suggestion for you that I picked up while watching the replay of Derek Paxtons stream from yesterday Download/copy the custom race of Ghosts of the Abbaddon which I think someone above mentioned but when you've downloaded them make a copy of them in the faction screen alter them to what you want and change their name before you save/carry on so your changes don't overwrite the original race you downloaded the result of this when you start the game will give you a crap class 2 home
