Most infamous example was Xeno Farming and the "Old McDonald had a farm.." thing.
That still makes me laugh after 5 years of playing GC2.I like the allusions to star trek on the tech descriptions. "If you cant laugh at yourself being a galactic ruler, who can you laugh at?"

The modules in GC2 already do limit what ships they can be put on as some can only be put on Medium/large and/or Huge hulls.I would like a bigger hull size called gigantic like you do with the map sizes if possible and a new type of hull for starbases ranging from tiny to Huge or even gigantic! But I dont want GC 3 being turned into another Sins with dedicated ship roles for certain sized ship hulls that would change it irrevocably.
This is a Strategy Game - not a tedious shoot-em-up. Stardock have made improvements to the Combat Box, we await to see what - but this will never, not a zillion years, ever be some quasi shoot-em-up. Its a Strategy game, and will stay that way. Lots of shoot-em-ups out there if someone has withdrawal symptoms - but this isn't one of them.
This^ As a fan of Gal Civ 1+2 all I would like is the combat box as is

Yes it is possible I've done it several times but I play on lower difficulty levels beginner/normal I have my tax rate at 31 and spending at 60 to increase morale and population growth and approval and normally when approval is at 100% on the following elections I get 100% candidates.I also only go to republic government not a democratic one although I do research the tech for the diplomacy increase. But its not all the time as I think theres a randomiser to take in galactic events into ac
In other sad news, Kari is taking leave of Stardock to tend to her growing family. Apparently, she had a good amount of input on GalCivII, so she will be missed in any future iterations of Galactic Civilizations. The other night I was trying to remember which computer space battle game it was that had fighters, which I had played around for a bit (demo version). Turns out that was: Gratuitous Space Battles <br
Quoting Noctilucus, reply 5 Not sure if it's really the case but it could very well be and that would also explain why people that stick to 1 gameplay style see some events far more often than others. That is definitely the case. I haven't yet figured out any of the exact triggers, but at least in case of the 5pc/week Speed Limit event, I'm certain it is only happening if your ships fly abo

when playing go into the shipyard tab at the bottom of the screen.you then have a choice of premade basic hulls or a blank cube from which you can add extras (jewellery) to make your hulls.these range from tiny, small, medium, large, massive when you have researched the techs for it (practice makes perfect) [e digicons][/e] As for a AAR its basically either what happened during one of your games or you could write a fictional story as some have done. One thing some people like to pu
