1) Battleviewer - Bring back the other viewing angles it had originally or fix cinematic to follow the action more closely. 2) Be able to delete ship templates and obsolete designs. 3) Be able to colour ships on a R/G/B basis or expand the colour schemes we have atm. 4) get rid of the Large Empire Penalty or not have it start till you have 50 planets+. 5) Up the fleet Logistics above GC2 levels (58) Preferably to max out at 100.

As I said on the other thread I'm playing a insane map and I've only got 17 planets and its already janked my morale my 17th planet started with only 17% morale if I colonise the 18th it'll probably instantly rebel on colonisation?
I agree with Seilore's conclusion apart from the logistics cap part and I said before the Log Cap should be nearer to 100 rather than the same as GC2 of 58 then perhaps it could be but at the moment no.
I'm playing a insane sized map on v1.03 and only have 17 planets and the LEP is killing my morale,I noticed it when I got my 14th planet and by the time I'd got my 17th planet starting morale was at 17% and the only thing dragging it down was the LEP (I checked it) I haven't taken the malevent trait/ideology just playing as stock Terrans if this keeps on my next planets will openly revolt the moment I colonise them? The problem with screwing around with logistics is GC3 has the same level as GC2 which is 58 (as far as I've been playing?) if you lower them to account for carriers you screw it up for everyone who either hasn't unlocked carriers yet or doesn't play with them? just limit the amount of modules per hull size job done!
Yes we had this for GC2 it was called "The Dread Lords have arrived to claim the galaxy" the result - Deleted game saves or horrifc defeats at the hands of said DL's especially if you didn't find them quick enough to take their 1 and only planet out? But having said that,I'm fully in favour of galactic/mega events I don't go much on the space monster one as that's more like a rip off distant worlds?
It was suggested that carrier modules were only to be available to large and huge hulls only (I think it was paul on a dev stream?) and as I complained to frogboy on the 1.02/3 thread nerfing them down to 2 small hull fighters doesn't in my books define a "Carrier" and I suggested 3-5 tiny hulls per module or 3 small hulls only but make the module bigger so you can only put 1-2 on a large hull and maybe 2-3 on a huge? so apart from the cargo hull carriers which should be limited to 1 modu
I'm probably putting this in the wrong section of the forum and its probably been posted in another thread But, Can we have a Obsolete and/or Delete buttons in the ship designer as like most people I've created several templates while getting to grips with the designer that I would now like to get rid of but as theres no delete template/design button and I don't want to accidently delete something in the games files could someone tell me if this feature that was in GC2 is going to

I don't know much about modding but with the workshop patch coming up v1.1 we'll all be able to upload our templates to the workshop so anyone can use them and once I finish mucking about with federation designs I'll be working some Klingon designs etc ( I did have most of the races for ST on GC2 but the laptop I had them on got wiped) plus people such as MrStarTrek and Rand Johnson and others will most probably upload their ST designs to the workshop as well so were all hav
Paul and Frogboy have said the Yor are better late game and its best to kill them as soon as possible But, there have been race/AI balance issues and the devs have been trying to balance it out with the patches.
From my experience of actually taking out starbases and shipyards you'll need at least 5 corvettes or frigates or a mix of both to take out a shipyard or a basic starbase but because any enemy planet can build a shipyard you'll need scout class ships near every enemy planet to see where any new shipyards pop up and then move your 5 ship fleets into nearby areas so you can react to your enemies actions. I like both 2 and 3 as to whether 3 is better than 2 ask me again when GC3 hits v2.03? They are both different from each other in playstyles that I'll put it this way - IF GC3 doesn't turn out as well as GC2 you'll know where I'll be - playing GC2 making sure the Toriens get their revenge on the drengin! I have only done this once on GC2 I played the Godlike map where everyone starts will all the techs with 9 AI on tough after 26 turns and having 10 planets a mass of Drengin/Arcean and Drath battleships and dreadnoughts came streaming out of the FoW smashed my fleets of medium hull frigates and invaded my brains out! it was the shortest game of GC2 I'd ever played and the most scariest!
