I've spent most of today in a all out war with the Drengin and the end battle notification is screwed up it kills my ships that survive the battle and keeps the enemy ships that should have died alive? I have had several battles where my ships had 40/110 HP left and the Drengin had ships 0/140 and with the end of battle notification my ships would be classed as dead whereas the supposedly dead drengin frigates would survive? what gives? I'm currently running on ver 1.03

With my homeworld I depending on bonus tiles I put 1-2 factories 1 research lab and 1-2 market centres and the entertainment building to bump up approval. I also put the financial capital and the trade capital on there as they compliment each other bonus wise.Generallly I put 1-2 factories,2-3 market centres,1-2 research labs per planet but if a planet has a lot of bonuses for either econ/manufacturing or research or military then I will specialise that planet and it also depends on where the

Due to the nerfing of 1.01 and .02 I'm staying with 1.03 till 1.1 is released even though I cant mod for toffee I can design ships and factions so when 1.1 goes live I shall be pumping out ships like no tomorrow at least as I have posted pics of my templates in the ship designer thread already.Their not as good as Rands but I like them. Once that workshop goes live theres gonnabe a massive rush of uploads I just hope steam can handle it!

They do have a ZOC and they provide bonuses to allied ships within them hopefully like in GC2 with weapon/defence/speed boosts for allied ships and slowing enemy ships down as well. As to direct combat that only happens if the Base is actually targeted atm.

I've had this it showed one of my 3 ships destroyed and yet when back on the main screen I still had 3 ships but 1 only had 1hp left needless to say I sharply directed it to my nearest base.

You want to tread on that hallowed ground! Personally I don't do it (mass spam starbases) but if I do I only put it around my Capital planets,Financial,Manufacturing and research planets and these are normally a mix of military/Econ and mining bases. But there will be others that do this and that's why theres a minimum distance between starbases as Frogboy and Mormengeil has taken this into account during development?
